UK, US, Germany for starters. Do you have any evidence of any country that has stated specifically that they do not recognise his criminal convictions? -

He entered the UK in 2008 and later bought Manchester City football club. The British didn't turn him over to Bangkok. After Fulham and Liverpool turned him down. After selling the club he was dismissed as Honourary President because of his criminal conviction and being on the run. How far did he get with his request for asylum in the UK? The British authorities weren't asked to extradite him to Thailand! -
How hard is it to re-sell cars in Thailand?

You expect to see them empty of stock...why would traders work like that? They're buying fresh stock all the time, it doesn't mean that the market is saturated. There's a huge 2nd hand market unless you think that all the used cars go to foreigners. -

Did they? UK didn't, US didn't, Germany didn't. Nicaragua and Montenegro did, I suppose, as did some African nations, those bastions of respectability. -

In a kangaroo court. No matter what trumpet up charges they pale in comparison to a military coup which should hold a death penalty. It wasn't a kangaroo court and the charges were not trumped up. -

He can win and at the same time he is still a criminal. He can't run if he's in prison. -

There isn't a deal to be cut, he's already been sentenced to 12 years and there are more cases outstanding against him. -

The entity that provides the death certificate would normally be able to provide a translated copy also. -

Those boots are rather important for keeping dirt and grit out of places it shouldn't be, that's why they're there. -

What? How could anyone get a lost/destroyed passport replaced with a legitimate one without going through their embassy in 2000? Do you need to check the details of your tale? -
Overstay and expiring passaport
Liverpool Lou replied to Tayida's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
No, a citizens passport renewal will not normally be disallowed just because the holder has an overstay. The embassy will obviously refer to it and give the relevant advice and warning. They will note the situation in case the holder mysteriously "loses" the new passport in an fraudulent attempt to get around the overstay by claiming it to be lost.
