Apart from the woman shot by a Capitol police officer, no one died in that incident.
Edit: Perhaps the "confused" will tell me who else died in the Capitol?
"...what's the difference?"
The difference is that the visas obtained through agents are not fake visas, they are real visas.
The "licence" services offered through these ads are not corruption (as you see visa agents services to be) as no licences are delivered, they are scams.
From the OP...
"The fee is from 1,000 baht to 6,000 baht. When victims transferred money to the scammers, the suspects disappeared or sometimes the victim got fake driving license cards".
The same that happens to people without licences ???... not a lot, an arbitrary fine if caught.
From the OP...
"Victims could even face legal action for using fake documents and could be imprisoned from six months to five years and fined from 10,000 baht to 100,000 baht".
Obviously, an attempted scam, Bangkok Bank does not send out unsolicited loan approvals, neither does it, or any bank, use WhatsApp!
If you want to report it, start with calling Bangkok Bank on their proper number, 1333, not the number shown on the email.
Back to the stone age then ... seriously hope not.
Back to the Stone Age only for the poster who, with no evidence at all, suggested that may be the case.
Why does it take you so long? BBL (and others) have the same requirement and that feature is easily turned off through "Settings" in, maybe 5 to 10 seconds. Re-activating it after using the bank's app takes another 5 seconds, or so.
