Obviously, she had to be detained initially, in order to process her transgression. There was no indication that she was jailed. -
They build planes tailored to customers' requirements. A Russian airline obviously didn't order that option What makes you think that (a) any airline would not order that facility on that model (if it is actually an option on that model and not standard equipment) and (b) it is "obvious" that Aeroflot didn't order it?

As well they should be. By using the term "ratted out" you make it appear that you disapprove of their being caught that way and that ratting out drug smugglers/users is a bad thing.

The problem was with the landing gear door, not the landing gear. It took hours to burn off excess fuel for safe landing, not to select an airport.
