  1. If that promise had not been made he would be a free man due to a refused extradition request. You'd be happy with that?
  2. Thai authorities don't do the extradition to Thailand, other countries do that and, if those countries don't co-operate, Thailand can do nothing about it.
  3. I'm sure that the family would not be so stupid as to stoop to conspiracy to murder and face the very real possibility of years in prison.
  4. He's free because (a) he's not charged with murder and (b) Thailand cannot get him extradited.
  5. Why do you claim that his assets are a result of criminal activities?
  6. "...order a Thai murderer compensation?" The murderer has not been awarded compensation! Its common for the family of victims to be awarded compensation.
  7. No, Thai courts jurisdiction for what you suggest ends at the borders of Thailand.
  8. Name one of those cases. He will not be extradited to the UK, why would the UK request that? Maybe you mean "repatriation" after 1/3 of his sentence has been served? That won't happen if the compensation isn't paid, regardless of your over-imaginative claim that "tens of thousands similar claims have gone unpaid and unpunished".
  9. He won't be repatriated to the UK until he pays compensation demanded by the court.
  10. No Red Bull shareholders premeditatively murdered and dismembered anyone.
  11. Your suggestion is unlikely for only one reason...the family cannot appeal the sentence to the court.
  12. You've got it wrong, those tests are no longer enforced on anyone entering the country.
  13. They can tape-off the area... very far away. Yes, they could, but they don't, so the public streets are accessible to anyone, anywhere, within reason. I don't condone the gawking, at all, but I'm sure you wouldn't be too happy if the RTP were able to tell you which part of the public pavement or which public street you could use.
  14. Unfortunately, they're in public, they have the right to be there, the police have no authority to "move on" law abiding citizens.
  15. Yes, that seems to be the case. What's difficult to understand...did you bother to read the article?
