No, they cannot be interlinked, that has just been adjudicated in court and is not a "grey area". Vehicle tax applies to vehicles, fines such as these and traffic fines apply to people and the two have to remain separate. Issuance of car tax can no longer be refused for non-payment of fines.

Once again there is nothing definite, people could face fines etc. ..........LOL Once again an AN poster cannot understand what was actually reported. The "could" relates to the level of the fine in conjunction with "up to", not whether or not a fine will be issued. The issuance of a fine is definite.

@spidermike007made no claim of criminal charge or conviction. You've exaggerated his statement. No, I did not, he clearly stated that he should be locked up, something that cannot happen in his civil case. There is currently no contempt charge.
