  1. If you have Android you can try the following - here with Android 11 and Lazada (same problem). Go in the settings to Apps - Choose Default Apps - Choose Opening Links then select there Lazada and then there under "Open supported links" choose "In other app"
  2. No. Or perhaps yes?! This is a photo from there that I found on Google Maps.
  3. What a photo session... In the Second Road at the area of Made in Thailand repainting would be necessary. And also more light at night. But to make it more safe for the many pedestrians there they switched the traffic light at the pedestrian crossing off. Or were too many road users complaining?
  4. Perhaps they should not blame the electrical fault but the people who are responsible for the electrical fault....
  5. "after we finished in Central i said to the wife lets try and dodge the traffic and get a taxi to Soi Buchow off.....10 minutes walk from Central to soi Buk Soi Bukhao is the next street over from 2nd road where you were, so definitely not a 5 min taxi ride (lucky to be 4-5 min walk) seems that some think it is no more than 5 mins in a taxi from central to soi buahkowon a day when 2nd road" This above is from different posters. I think Soi Bukkow should be renamed to something that is easier to remember ???? Perhaps in Soi Buakhao ????????.
  6. Yes, Thailand is not the same anymore. First I lost Koh Samui. During the Asian crisis the Baht fell and suddenly Koh Samui got overwhelmed by tourists. I fled to Phuket Patong. After a year the same happened there. I tried Malaysia, Philippines, Bangkok and other places. A longer story...
  7. In our condominiums the administration pays for the electricity. But we get the PEA bill with the monthly bill for other expenses which includes the admin fee and water. And then we pay for everything together.
  8. I have to admit that after many years here in Thailand I have reverted to my western lifestyle. For example, I only eat western food here in the meantime. I liked Thai food for a while. But not anymore. And then it gets expensive here. Wine, good beer, baguette, bread, cheese and other western items are expensive here. Also beautiful cars, high-end electronics and so on. More and more often I think to move back to Europe. Alicante in Spain does not get out of my head. Far away from the noisy red light districts in Pattaya that are filled with booze and sex tourists. It is a completely different world.
  9. Pattaya is the place for Cheap Charlies, booze and sex tourists. Phuket the place for all other tourists. And then the nice sunsets in Patong. What I did not like were the "taxis" in Patong. At least they motivate you to walk more... The Baht busses in Pattaya are unbeatable.
  10. If I look at the belly of the victim it cannot be denied that he seems to like food. But a drunk guard is a no-go. Poor Indian. At least he didn't get the "hug of theft" by a ladyboy.
  11. Perhaps instead of fireworks they should demolish the Waterfront building at midnight. A lot of noise too and an unforgettable experience (especially for those who invested there ????????????).
  12. This all happens while Europe tries to commit suicide with sanctions against Russia ????????
  13. What a nice feeling this must be. You wake up the next morning and find yourself in the news without remembering anything ???? "The man admitted to engaging in carnal acts with his careless partner on the side of Pattaya Third Road on Monday at 4 AM. He claimed he was very drunk and did not remember anything, not even the woman he had sex with, and only found out about the event after it went viral on Thai media." https://thepattayanews.com/2022/12/29/update-pattaya-police-fine-norwegian-tourist-5000-baht-for-fornicating-in-public/
  14. They write it was a "150-160 cm mystery". Ladyboys are normally taller. But of course everything is possible in our lovely family resort.
  15. I told you this above already. The Thais don't seem to like wax rings. I sent them too to buy one after they had installed the toilet already without one. And then I watched them when they installed it. They didn't like this...
  16. In the worst case he can make screenshots of the news and our compassionate comments ????.
  17. Do you/they have rooms for rent ?????????????
  18. You can say whatever you want. If the police want to do a good job here, they really do. The reputation of this great, lovely family resort has once again been preserved. And we've all learned that it might be cheaper to have "entertainment" here at home or in one of the many short-time rooms in hotels and bars.
  19. I would create a paradise for red light district fans outside of Pattaya with free transportation. What Pattaya now has without zoning creates a very bad reputation and will keep away many tourists who have no interest in sex and alcohol.
  20. LK Metro, Tree Town, Soi Buakhao and many other places here. In Soi Buakhao, for example, much of the normal infrastructure has recently been replaced by bars. Bank branches and many other normal businesses disappeared and were replaced by bars. In some areas of Soi Buakhao there is nothing but sex venues in the meantime. And if you walk around Central Pattaya in the evening, you will mostly see men looking for booze and sex. And of course you will see everywhere "entertainers". One has to accept that. Obviously this development is wanted. I have lived in Central Pattaya for about 25 years. It's time for me to move. I don't want to live in the middle of a noisy brothel any longer. I don't go to bars and never had anything to do with "entertainers". For a while I have thought Pattaya will move away from sex businesses. But this was a mistake.
  21. My packages had to be registered with the seller via LINE. They were not sold in the shops and therefore couldn't be registered there. I was in the mall and thought I could do it on this occasion. But they told me to contact the seller. The sellers have special contracts. What do you have now and how is your experience?
  22. I studied Lazada Malaysia and Philippines. At Lazada Thailand I can't read the text in graphics. But perhaps it is the same for Thailand. It is highly complicated. Below a link from Lazada Malaysia. And you can try to change the company but you need reasons and Lazada needs to approve it. https://sellercenter.lazada.com.my/seller/helpcenter/what-are-the-delivery-options-provided-11024.html I also found something interesting about "problem customers" 1 . Sellers can report UNFAIR BUYER REVIEWS through the Seller Center. 2. Offensive chat messages can be escalated to PARTNER SUPPORT 3. When the buyer has High Failed Delivery Rates and Returns, COD option can be removed from from the Checkout page. This can be requested through Customer Care. 4. Buyers can be Blacklisted on Lazada when they have HIGH CANCELLATION RATES
  23. It wasn't their fault. Watch the video. They had very bad luck.
