    If you don't need phone calls (not possible with this SIM) perhaps this would be an alternative. I get speeds up to 150 Mbps with unlimited data for 999 Baht a year. But you should test at your location with a monthly package first. Also your device needs to be be able to use Band 40 otherwise it will not work.

    Yes, normally there is only one phase switched. In my condo I marked at all wall sockets where the live wire is and at all power strip plugs I have also marked how they need to be plugged in correctly. I do they same with all lamps and other things that have a switch. So I make sure that the live wire is switched off and not the neutral wire.

    I have them all on a power strip. My wall sockets can't handle 3 pin plugs. Then try turn around the plug of this. I made the experience that this often helps.

    I had exactly the same problem. I touched one that was not even running and got a shock. Since this time I check all electric installations afterwards. Earth wire is a problem in my condo complex especially since we removed almost all metal water pipes. But you shouldn't use them anyway. At computers and other devices it often helps if you turn around the plug when you plug it in.

    Yes it is very important that some appliances have earth wires. Here the installations of one of my aircons. There is an earth wire. The other ones have an earth wire too.

    Most of the people I know who use an agent don't meet the financial or other requirements to get the extensions. I go to the immigration myself to be legally on the safe side and not to waste money for nothing. Perhaps for some it might be easier to use an agent because of the distance to the immigration or because of age.
