The fundamental problem with raincoats, today, as with just about everything else is Quality Control and Quality Assurance. Most Garbage People, or trash collectors, judging by the way they look while walking on the streets of this world... No longer care about what they wear. They have no sense of self-respect, or self-worth. Just looking at what they wear on the streets, which I would not consider to be street clothes, then they might just as well go naked. How far has the world fallen! Our entire world is becoming crammed with Junk, and nothing but. This is caused by deteriorating Culture and increasing stupidity. The question is... How can these downward trends be corrected....?

I think you only need to have the numbers for your landlord (if you have a great one), and a good friend (if you have one). Then, they can help negotiate whatever must be done in case of emergency. But, what happens if you drop dead inside your house, and nobody knows? Who will make the call then? So, there must be some sort of CCTV cam you can rig up in your house to call your friend if no movement is detected for x-amount of time. And, one other nice thing to have is to be able to speak to one of your devices in a room, even if you are unable to move, and totally incapacitated, with all bodily function disabled, except for your ability to utter utterances. In this case, you could just call out to your device, and speak to the Google Robot, and have the robot be your friend, I guess...because I have never tried this....

Dear Folks, This dumbed-down world in which we live has become exceedingly boring. Yet, we have become used to our boredom and just endure it. It was not always that way. There is no such thing as quality or QC in any parts of our lives. And we are so busy and distracted that we have not sufficient time for introspection; and so we do not notice just how dreary our environment and the world we know, has become. Nobody stops to think that all is now sub-standard, simply because there is no longer time to care. IQ and Culture once was important, if only to an elite few. I was so lucky to be among the elite who were born in the best time in America. Cavett is a strange bird who hailed from Yale. Not everyone today shares enough in common-experience with guys of that era to be able to listen and have what is discussed resonate with them. This is a good thing. It's not that I would ever want to see Trump become the next US Prez. It is only that The Salad Woman is completely unfit and unqualified for the job. The present state of affairs, with only two unfit people to vote for, and no others, is the direct doing of Biden. I once thought of Biden as an OK person. I once refused to pay customs duty for several Amazon purchases sent from the USA by a friend. The friend had received the purchases, and then taken the stuff to a US post office, to be sent to me in Thailand. The friend declared a high value. Customs wanted a high amount for duty. I refused. Shipment was returned to USA, within about 2 weeks. This is all that I know.

This is a good example of DISPLACEMENT.... In my view, this defense mechanism is more likely to be employed in societies that are less confrontational, such as this one. Or, in societies where aggression and anger is more repressed. a. Yes, people here love their dogs. but... b. Sometimes negative emotions of their owners become redirected to the household's canine pet. It's a dog's life in Thailand, on some days... This is why dogs are so attentive to humans, in order to read humans' emotions, just for the dog's selfpreservation.
