Oh, I forgot to add. One thing that I DID learn: a. The Electrolux Kettle performed flawlessly. A great kettle. b. The other kettle emitted a burning plastic smell, coming from the base that provides power to the kettle. Both plastic bases got rather hot. But, only the No_Name brand gave off the sickly smell of burning plastic. c. The No-Name brand, though, seemed to heat up FASTER....so...then... c2. This is a definite PLUS...because...I was using both kettles in a NON-STANDARD way, and I DO NOT recommend this to anyone because...this could be quite hazardous unless one is standing nearby monitoring the catastrophe..... c3. At one time, the water almost boiled completely dry,and then I would have lost a perfectly good,and almost new water kettle.... c4. Still, I would have gladly sacrificed an expensive kettle for the good of this Topic, and for the amusement of interested readers on TV, a forum which, in my honest opinion, is the BEST in THAILAND.....so there is that...anyway....

FALSE FALSE FALSE (Just as I could have told you....BEFORE....I tested your assumption.) So then, here is what REALLY happened: a. I closed doors and windows on a room which is about 28 square meters in surface area and about 2.8 meters high....and so about 75 cubic meters in volume. b. I turned on the AC. But, I had no way to measure the RH in this room, without going to more trouble than I would like, just for the likes of guys on TV...for heaven's sake. c. Next, I connected two water kettles to the main. Total wattage of both is just above 4000 watts. d. Filled both kettles and began boiling, as shown in the previous photos. e. I REPLENISHED the water in the kettles as needed, just to keep them boiling like Shakespeare said: f. Then, I cooled it with a baboon. g. So then, what happened to the AC during all this toiling and bubbling? NADA. ZILCH... h. The AC just kept on blowing away, as normal, as I KNEW it would. i. But outside, the drain pipe from the inside-evaporator unit gushed a torrent of water, like I had never seen it before. i2. Even on the most humid days, normally the AC will output about 3 drops per second, which I consider normal. i3. But, with the caldrons abubbling.....The output became a steady stream, and I just wish I had a prostate that would allow such an unobstructed flow....a real veritable river out the pipe!!! If only I had such a pipe, thinks I.... j. Anyway, if you read the above Topic, most of what has been said about causes and fixes is just PURE uninformed and unsubstantiated guessing.... j2. If you want to read the same thing, but more, then please just read MARK TWAIN where he writes about the vagabonds and scoundrels on riverboats navigating the Mississippi river in the 1800s. J3. Have you ever noticed that here on TV you will find a plethora of contributors who are never too lazy to voice their opinion on almost ANYTHING, without care whether they know anything at all? Well....it's the very same thing in this glorious Topic. k. I know, ..... NO, I do KNOW that everyone here considers Gamma to be a complete FOOL.... As do I, in fact. BUT, I know something about ACs, even though I could not repair one. Basically, its all a matter of controlling the steam....if you have ever read Tom Wolfe.....You know.... The Bonfire of the Vanities....and Controlling Steam... OR, its a matter of NOT buying inferior consumer appliances thinking you will save money....because....ONE NEVER DOES.... l. Buy the best AC because....THIS IS THAILAND...and Thailand is HOT, in case you had not yet noticed. I BUY PANASONIC......EVERY TIME. Sure, sometimes, it is difficult to communicate with the local reps...I grant you. But, even with all this needless trouble communicating with the local reps.... I will STILL buy Panasonic ACs.... EVERY TIME I just hope that the company will GET GAME, and fix what needs to be fixed in the supply and service part of the chain...because... Panasonic has great engineering. And, I will not criticize Panasonic here...because.... I like Panasonic ACs... And like them...MUCH. And, just one more thing: The ACs I purchased are EXTREMELY COST EFFECTIVE for what you get.... High Efficiency Very Quiet Good Controls Good Longevity. Extremely Low Cost .... IMHO I look forward to the day, maybe soon, when I will buy ONE MORE Panasonic AC...... (I just VERY MUCH do NOT look forward to the purchasing torture.....The Machine is Great....But, Panasonic, I think, must make it easier to buy and easier to get great service, which can match the engineering of the Panasonic ACs, and the Panasonic brand.) ================= This entire Topic, from the beginning, was rather suspect and HERE IS WHY: Most of you guys know that I am Chinese on the inside....and White on the Outside....Right? So, you must also know that I LOVE HOT POT..... And, in the summertime when we love to eat hotpot, we sometimes have about 10 HOTPOT caldrons bubbling together, all at the same time...and... About 20 guests dipping chopsticks into said caldrons....and so.... What would happen if an AC iced up due to all that humidity? So, LOGICALLY SPEAKING, which is something that I have NOT seen on this Topic.... Any GOOD AC, such as a Panasonic AC, if installed properly, with proper coolant pressure....and NO LEAKS....willl NOT ICE UP. Of course, it really does NOT MATTER how much evidence might be shoved in your face, because...you will NOT believe your eyes... We know why, too.... Just human nature. Most inferior humans are unable to change their minds, based on evidence. Instead, as everybody knows.... Opinions and beliefs are based NOT on facts or evidence. BUT...this is just another thought of mine which YOU will take objection to, and YOU will debate, and YOU will NOT accept...no mater what... Evidence is laid before thee..... Who cares...anyway? And I bought a Panasonic machine which is ONE OF THE BEST I have ever used.....during the past 50-plus years..... ============ So anyway, I needed to wait to perform this pseudo-scientific experiment until I was in the MOOD....and I was in the mood today, for some strange reason.... First, I will upload a few corroborating images, just so that you cannot say that I did not do what I am telling you that I DID..... I used about 4000 WATTS of power to boil 3.5 liters of water during a time period of about 20 minutes..... The steam was billowing HOT AND HEAVY: As to the results of this informal test.... I will report in semi-full....momentarily..... Suffice to say that EVERYTHING reported on this Topic is FULL of BALONEY, just as I observed...from the beginning. In fact, if you want any type of science-based information, then....DO NOT COME HERE because you WILL NOT FIND IT HERE.... Please believe me..... So, as I say, I will report the results of this test, post haste, but....for now, as you can see.... I DID test the AC by boiling off almost 4 liters of water in a sealed room...PDQ.....
