  1. The problem is that he has somehow come to the invalid conclusion that the icing is caused by excessive humidity, which is false. Reducing humidity in the room being cooled will therefore not reduce the probability that this problem will occur. IF he REALLY wants to show that this is being caused by humidity, then he will need to buy a humidifier and a hygrometer, and then do a lot of testing to rule out other more likely causes. He will need to do trials at varying temps and humidity. Also, one possibility is that exercising in a small room, maybe with other heat-producing equipment running, is causing the temp in the room to increase. And this increase causes the AC's compressor to run at a higher percentage of the time. And this, then, is what causes the ice to form. If this is the case, then he should have the AC serviced. And, he should check the factors that have already been suggested, such as coolant pressure loss, etc. One cannot just form a hypothesis, and then not test it, and then state that it is valid. That is just NOT DONE in science.
  2. Is that what they informed you after re-attaching their heads?
  3. Agree. Must have been, in every case, anxiety, tension, and flight or fright, but probably not fight.
  4. Those lousy democrats in office. They're just so full of CB. Confirmation Bias, that is. Their view of reality is just so very.... WARPED, these days. Of course, it wasn't always like this. Such a shame, really, when a large group of people goes down the... Rabbit Hole into Wonderland. I mean, how could one ever vote for that group, again...?
  5. Surely, you meant Daily Delusions. Never underestimate the power of alliteration.
  6. For me.... This is always best:
  7. Then, in this case, you are lucky you are not a sailor, one who might be buried at sea, as so many sailors have been, throughout the ages.
  8. Dear Folks, Most people, try as they might, find it difficult to feel especially happy about dying. However, in this LOS, might it be possible to just.... Go out with a smile? I would say, as an expat myself, that if I were to die in Thailand, then I would be smiling. Some expats say that living in Thailand is better than anywhere else. And I say, too, that dying in Thailand is better than dying in most other places. I feel at peace to know that I will expire here...that is....unless, for some reason... My visas do not expire before me. I still have many years to go, ..... And miles to go before I sleep, And even more kilometers to go before I sleep. Is Thailand pretty much the best place in the world...to... DIE! Yes, it is, but just IMHO. Thailand is a place of peace for the living. And, it is an even greater place of peace for those who are bout to die. I SALUTE you....those of you who are about to die...and....I will... Soon follow you, yet not so soon.... I hope. Any thoughts about any better place to die, compared to Thailand? Best regards, Gamma
  9. YES. This is the greatest, by far....and glad that you realize this. AND, for darn sure....THIS is their best rendition of Kashmir...BY FAR..... NO DOUBT NO DOUBT
  10. Rolling Stone? Do you mean the same RAG that did the story on..... What a RAG....!!!
  11. OK. I will watch it, and THANK YOU for mentioning it. One of my favorite albums is....just to many to tell, really. I first heard the band in Japan....Yokohama, in 1971. Pretty AMAZING, really. So, sometimes I like this one, and sometimes I like that one....just depends. But, I NORMALLY like this one.... A LOT.... I have listened for about 55 years, so far. I could say a LOT more, but....I also know that you do not...particularly.... Appreciate my commentary. And, this ain't no lie..... Is it....
  12. In the future, then... Please refer to ME as GG-Number-One... And, the other gentleman as GG-Number-Two... This is no more than I rightfully deserve.
  13. Sorry, I do not know the gentleman. Surely, he must be a fine fellow, though. But why does he use my initials? Did he plan it this way?
  14. Really, I am not sure what you mean by LB. But, I just love it when the girls play with their hair, and then....give me the.... COME-HITHER look.... Don't you?
  15. Even in Japan, there is racial tension between those of different groups WITHIN Japan, of course.... OBVIOUSLY.
  16. Also, compare JAPAN, a very homogeneous and cohesive society, by comparison to many others.
  17. I read your posts. This problem that you describe would NOT be happening if your AC were functioning properly. ACs are DESIGNED to work in very high humidity conditions. And, it is their VERY FUNCTION to work in humidity up to 100-percent relative humidity. Therefore, you must check to see if you have a coolant leak in your system, and that the pressure of the coolant is not decreasing. Check to see that the filters are clean. Then, have your AC serviced so that the insider of the evaporator unit is completely clean. Next, if all is well with this, then check thermostat. Your AC was never designed to freeze up on the indoor unit, the cold unit. I do understand that if an AC is not functioning properly, and needs repair, it will sometimes freeze sooner and more quickly when there is higher humidity. But, even at 100-percent humidity, a properly functioning AC should NOT freeze up. The properly functioning AC is DESIGNED to prevent this. Do you NOW understand my very humble opinions?
  18. Dear Folks, I am just wondering, why do girls/women play with their hair when talking to one? a. Is it because they might be nervous? b. Is it because they like one? c. Both of the above? =================== Also, why do girls THROW THEIR HAIR, and look back at one, when departing from a meeting with one, or just any old time? What does throwing of hair signify? Am I getting the wrong signals? Are you? What is throwing hair, anyway? For example... THIS always happens to me.... She throws here hair, and then gives me this strange look: So then... What does this all mean??? Thanks so much...and... Best Regards, Gamma
  19. This is NOT caused by excess humidity in the room, or outside the room, or outdoors. The REASON the evaporator will freeze up is either it needs cleaning, OR there is a coolant leak. Just in my VERY humble opinion, obviously. Note: There is also the chance that the thermostat might have been damaged, but I think this would be unlikely if the AC was functioning properly...in the past.
  20. I can guess why they might be dumping Panasonic machines here, locally, if they are. I have mentioned the reasons in previous posts. This is a shame, really. But, with ACs and other consumer appliances... SERVICE is the name of the game if you want to stay in the market. Next time I go to HomePro, the one near here, I will ask the store for the story. Quite interesting, in my view.
