Is moving to Cambodia really the end of the line?
GammaGlobulin replied to Elvis Presley's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I am sure that I would agree with your comment... But, I'm not entirely sure what it means. I do agree that I don't like to depend upon AI for any writing because it's more trouble than it's worth. An, are we so lazy that we cannot just write our comments/Topics ourselves? Makes no sense how one could even BE this lazy. -
Are high end smartphones worth the money (to you)?
GammaGlobulin replied to impulse's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Not.."anyone". Only those who do not know how to use computers, or never did use one properly. Just try posting a Topic using a smartphone....IMPOSSIBLE...really! Also, try doing a search for some academic Topic...IMPOSSIBLE with a tiny screen, no matter how fast the phone. Maybe, though, the tiny screen is still adequate for viewing PORN.... On the go. But, I don't know. -
Are high end smartphones worth the money (to you)?

No NEED to unplug. Android 14 has this function....by which it....automatically.... Stops charging at 80% of full battery. I could never remember to unplug or plug...just on my own...at exactly 80%. So many years since I was called upon to do plugging and unplugging...by myself... It seems. -

Is it not now true that almost... EVERYTHING around here comes from... Artificial Intelligence models...meaning LLMs? I think the postings of LLM content on TV could be improved if....only...posters here would...use..... DeepSeek, the SUPERIOR Chinese LLM. I will never use an LLM to post content, because.... Why should I? What's in it for ME? -
Are high end smartphones worth the money (to you)?

You are..... CORRECT, once again. I bought one in June. Great phone. 256GB internal storage 12GB RAM 2-slots for SIM or for Micro SD card Android 14 with 5-years of updates to OS... What could be finer? For the money? BUT, BUTT.... The only color I would touch, and did buy, was Awesome Navy Blue. Good for hiding in the dark, at night. -

Two slots for SIM or SD Card. d. 256 GB (or above) internal storage Done. =========== High-end cameras on phones are for.... IDIOTS....to... Waste their money. ====== If I want a high-end camera, then... NIKON... Top of the Line... -

Thai man sets fire to hospital in stress over 3 million baht loss
GammaGlobulin replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
A baggage handler, no less. What is it that drives Postal Workers and Baggage Handlers mental.....? Perhaps the repetitious nature of their work? Obviously, this baggage handler was not thinking clearly, and had no logical plan. Why was it that his coworkers were not able to identify issues with this man... In advance. Fortunately, no one seems to have been injured. -
British man’s Thailand trip goes from heaven to prison hell (video)
GammaGlobulin replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Is this the same fat guy who, on the forum, reportedly evacuated his bowels on a public street, and then went skinny-dipping in the temple pool next-door? I always wondered what had become of him. And now, here he is, not just once, but twice if you count the first time he showed up in prison, in last week's story. Probably the same guy, and he never seems to move, either. He remains chained to the prison bars in perpetuity. Wish we knew his name so that we could learn more about him, and how he ended up where he is now. -
Too expensive. In 1990, I often stayed at The Courtyard for USD100 per night. Now, the cost is USD396 per night. Not worth it for me. I would rather spend my money in Thailand, where I am doing some good, and helping the Thailand Woman. I would never spend my money in the land of the American Woman....not now...after all these years. I am happy with the wonderful women in Thailand, and I mean just happy to respect them from afar, or chat with them in everyday life. I could NEVER do that with the American Woman, simply because they would DEBATE me from the first moment, and they would be far too overbearing from the beginning... What would we even find in common? Would I talk to them about my love of Chili Peppers, for example???? No. They just would not care.

Reading your paragraph, I don't know where to even begin. So, I guess I will not begin. Except to say, as I just mentioned, it is impossible to educate someone who is unwilling to be educated. This is the same problem we often experience when leading a horse to water, before crossing a desert, when the horse refuses to drink, not realizing what is up ahead of him.

NO. I am not talking about your experience. I am talking about Child Development. Maybe this simple Piaget page might help... Please also remember... It is useless to debate. Why? Nobody is ever convinced that a contrary position might be correct, and thus change his mind. This just does not happen. Any change in view, or in belief, must arise organically and not through argument. Meaning that one changes one's own views through experience. You might think that you are exceptional at reading Chinese facial expressions, but I DOUBT it. You have not had that much time at it. You are unaware of the subtle mannerisms. And, I don't really doubt, that you even think all Chinese look alike. But as I say, debate is always pointless. Just an exercise in futility for those that enjoy this kind of thing.... Sort of like auto-eroticism.... It is completely one-sided.
