You know..... When I was in Quebec City, drinking beer... We never needed to worry about FILL DATE....because.... Before the days of Global Warming.... All beer in Canada was fresh. This seems not to be the case, over here, where we are now. After a few weeks in this heat, the beer gets downright skunky. Some might prefer the smell of skunk, on occasion.... But, not in one's beer. When I was in my teens, sometimes my finger would have that weird smell.... And when I went home in the morning.... The smell was still there. Sometimes I would not wash my hand for days...... And the smell would remain.... Those were the days....!!!!

Dear Folks, I can’t figure out how to tell the FILL-DATE of beer. Is this something that requires GENIUS? When I was in Canada, many years ago, I was able to look at the bottom of a can of Molson…and then just read off the date, backwards. But here where I am now, even though I read the info backwards and forwards, I still can’t easily understand the FILL-DATE…. Is this because I am actually NOT a Genius? Also, sometimes the beer tastes like molasses. And, in such cases, I might like to look at the bottle, just to see if this new flavor might be due to aging. In addition: Is aging in the bottle good for beer, just like CoGnac aged in Casks is good? This, I do not know, either. So, how does one tell, just by looking at the label of a bottle of beer…. What the FILL-DATE might have been? So many questions… And, so little time. I would imagine that others, who are also not Geniuses, might like to know the answer to this question…. I am a Westerner. However, I am NOT loath to discrimination. In fact, I am a very discriminating kind of guy. My tastes, also, are impeccable.

It might not be so easy to change the chosen DEFAULT branding for LEAP 16, unfortunately. I will be changing LEAP 16 background to LEAP 15.6, or maybe SUSE 8.1, or something. Still, I am happy to have the LEAP 16 OS for free. Beggars cannot be choosers...UNLESS....they are willing to devote their time to the Project.

Concerning upgrade from LEAP 15.6 to LEAP 16.... Leap 16 is not finished yet, many have argued. I will leaave LEAP 16 on my SuperDUPER desktop computer, now that it is installed..... And just screw around with it, for fun. However, I will DEFINITELY NOT upgrade my other computers from 15.6. 15.6 is fantastic, and reliable enough to use for all work and play. Also, 15.6 is now supported for an extra SIX months, which is an extension until end of April 2026. Therefore, I plan to not upgrade other computers until JUNE of 2026...(provided I/We live that long). With the new LEAP 16 install on KDE, there seems to exist more graphics problems, and probably CODEC problems, than usual. Still, it is nice to have LEAP 16 on one computer, because otherwise the daily temptation to install might drive one crazy.

The ONLY Way is to just live underground.... And never come up. If you live near a temple, or almost anywhere, then build yourself an underground bunker. Sleep down there, and get a good night's rest. When the noise stops, then come up for air. Really, this is the best and only way to find peace around here.
