  1. does that go for the foreign men too? except they're older and should really know better.
  2. Will the Thai's ever learn? why do you make this a thai thing? i see many westerners riding motorcycles in thailand without helmets. less of the thai bashing please.
  3. samui in the early 90s, pretty much a paradise. went back 2015, big mistake, the place has been completely ruined. i guess many people think it's a great place, but if you don't know, you don't know. i'll never return.
  4. why do western sex tourists like getting tattoos, become fat/obese and wear awful clothes? i know they cant help being bald.
  5. why do foreign western guys who indulge in the sex industry have so many tattoos, and are so fat and bald?
  6. of course, with due care and attention, i.e. don't try it if there's a fuel tanker heading towards you on the other side of the road.
  7. the population were advised of the closure, so everyone had the opportunity to take a different route, up to them.
  8. yes they do, if the claim is covered by the policy. most travel insurance policies exclude motorcycle riding - for obvious reasons. insurance companies certainly do pay out, i have had one travel insurance claim settled in full at around £3500 GBP, and one household claim, due to flooding, settled in full at £30,000 GBP.
  9. and they should probably add an exclusion for motorcycle accident claims occurring while live streaming... the guy isn;t the brightest...
  10. A few years ago was dating a lawyer, she told me that while studying law the students had to do a work placement, her friend went to work at the National Anti-Corruption Commission, and promptly left as soon as she realised what a corrupt organisation it was. of course they may have cleaned their act up...
  11. obviously click bait, don;t waste you time
  12. This is good to hear a Thai wearing a helmet but sadly seldom happens. Not true for bangkok where most motorcyclists wear helmets, there is though an all too reluctant minority who don;t, often younger riders and school students.
  13. it's bad design that the default takes you to the last post, it's illogical and annoying
  14. if you read, and understood, the article you'd know this has nothing to do with the thai baht, it's part of nissan's global restructuring program
  15. maybe because it's not a passport, it's a laissez-passer, basically a permit or official authorisation to go somewhere
  16. who designed that road junction?! just asking for trouble.
  17. Thais don't know what I'm talking about. Maybe they put tea crumbs to the cup? don;t be so critical of the thais, i don't know what you're talking about either, what are tea crumbs? what level is your thai language skill? or are you expecting them to understand your english explanation?
  18. a cycle lane was created in banglampu, bangkok, several years ago, it was badly planned and thought through. for a start there were hardly any cyclists in the area, the lane impinged on the road space available for other vehicles, car owners used it for parking so it was impossible for cyclists to use it, part of it was cordoned off from the road with plastic cones bolted to the road, it took the local buses about two weeks to wipe out most of the cones. a complete waste of time and money.
  19. america's getting what america wanted, it's very predictable and very sad.
  20. yea, most airlines allow prior online check in, and have done for years. the bottleneck is progression through immigration
  21. yea, Pantip's a bit of a weird place these days, you have to wonder why they did it. fortune town seems to be the place to go for IT stuff. i recommend Nic at Pro Corner for repairs and refurbished pcs, speaks good english and is reliable
  22. how is this politically motivated? the case was brought by election workers whom he discredited, and he was tried by a jury. where is the political angle?
