Thai Court Rules Traffic Fines Can't Block Vehicle Tax Renewal
Will B Good replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I'll try and explain.....this is tricky. Let's start with a question......Why might he have been issued with a ticket?......certainly not for parking.....how about speeding or driving like a total d***head? So let's assume he was driving too fast and/or like a d***head and he kept having to pay ever increasing punitive fines, face driving bans and potentially imprisonment...... That might just lead to him thinking...oh I know....i'll stop driving in this fashion, even if only for my own selfish reasons. This is how fines work....they (generally) discourage people from doing things they ought not to be doing. Putting fines in the bin doesn't deter anyone.....having to keep paying them will. Hope this helps. -

"Flat Earther" finally admits the Earth isn't flat

No.... he is correct. Even general relativity and quantum electrodynamics are only theories, regardless of how many times they have been proved to make correct predictions. As soon as another 'stronger' theory comes along they are toast. -
Renaming could work both ways......Musk Mews, Trump Terrace, Vance Vale, Sunak Street, Gove Grove. Local elections will only be cancelled where the boundaries are being redrawn for new authorities at the time of the elections. Cancelling jury trials is a desperate attempt to overcome serious backlogs caused by the Tory government and will hand down minor sentencing to magistrates.

Speculation....against forum rules....tut! The Brookings Institution found that the percentage of fraudulent votes in U.S. elections is a minuscule 0.0000845%, with no election outcomes altered by ballot fraud over a 42-year period. https://www.brookings.edu/articles/how-widespread-is-election-fraud-in-the-united-states-not-very/?utm_source=chatgpt.com

Haven't followed this too closely, but I was under the impression that judicial processes led to their imprisonment......what did the Democrats have to do with anything? -

Alan Edward is described as a neo-Nazi due to his active promotion of neo-Nazi ideologies and associations with far-right extremist groups. He openly expressed beliefs in white supremacy, racism, antisemitism, and homophobia. His online activities included sharing content that denied the Holocaust and glorified Adolf Hitler. Additionally, Edward praised Anders Breivik, the Norwegian mass murderer, referring to him as “Saint Anders” in documents found on his computer. Edward’s involvement with extremist groups is further evidenced by his promotion of National Action, a banned far-right neo-Nazi organization in the UK. He posted videos of their rallies and invited others to support this proscribed group. Beyond his online activities, Edward amassed a significant cache of weapons at his home, including a crossbow, knives with Nazi insignia, machetes, and a samurai sword. He discussed plans to attack an LGBT group, stating in messages that “they will pay in blood” and suggesting, “We should get masked up and go do a few of them in at their little gay club.”

Got to where the captain says....."you don't read your bible?".....then.....pffft....no thanks. Flat-earthers are a joke.....but religious people have a seriously large piece of the jigsaw missing and are dangerous.- 45 replies

Not quite as simple as 182 days and your out.........or so I thought? The standard residency tests allow you to be out of the country for longer as long as you fulfil other criteria? Property in the UK, ties to the UK, no property abroad, returning to live in the UK property you own......that kind of stuff?
