what happened to the alleged new test for big bikes
KhunLA replied to Rampant Rabbit's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
A big bike in TH seems to be anything bigger than 160cc -
Last off topic one from me. An air fryer is nothing more than, hopefully, a well designed 'convection oven', no more, not less. Our 56L Electrolux was billed as 'Air Fryer' and even labeled so. Does have 6 elements & 3 very good fans. Will cook as fast as the small air fryer. Even a tray, so no need to turn food half way through. Advantage of small one, doesn't heat up the kitchen, though too small to actually prepare a meal. Even for just 2.

Yes, age matters, and activity. As a bit of weight loss here, since not that active, has been due to muscle atrophy ... Chest & arms, though not so much legs, as still cycling a bit. Even slowed that down as of late.

Along with beef steak, shrimp, lobster etc etc etc Snake, dog & frogs if foraging Red ant eggs ... YUM

Yea, I got it. and 1 looks like that, other small one a bit different. Then a full size 56L. Going a bit off topic .. .to say the least.

Not sure about that, as that was my usual, for about 10 yrs running, 30-40 yrs old. Put on 25 lbs over the winter, and lose it the 1st month of spring. Was usually 10 lbs the 1st week, and 5 lbs the next 3 weeks. Only real negative I read at the time, as not good to do consistent, on the gall bladder. But once a year, didn't see a problem. Never took vitamins or electrolytes while doing. First 3 days, not food at all, string the stomach a bit (or my thinking) then minimal, bowl of Total cereal, & fruit and or veggie salad, no dressings, the next couple days. That was an easy 10 lbs off, as I think water intake accounted for a bit, as body no longer storing. Next 3 weeks, Total cereal (fortified for vitamins), then lots of protein, and fruit/veggie salad. Being very active helped, burning calories and not bored. Kept it at ~800 calories a day, tried to.

I always flew 1st Class, so can't comment about the back of the bus. I did fly United once in the back, and yea, USA air carriers suck. Even TG was better.

13 yrs and 1 month of my salaried employment spent there. Only job of 30+, that lasted more than 1 year. The main reason I'm in TH, without the flight bennies, would have never ventured over for peek, and still be in the Americas somewhere. Though not exactly a bad thing, here or stuck in the Americas. Either work. Whoa, that 1 vid is up to 1.1M now ... That's just sad ... society is lost.

Pickles .. another one of the easiest things to make at home. Too many recipes on line. Keep a couple jars going at all times ... hmm, running low on sauerkraut

Air fryer, you mean the mini convection oven. Own 3, all sizes, (2 minis(4.5 & 12L ?), all labeled air fryer. Depends what I'm cooking, size wise, but I wouldn't try boiling water in any.

No need to search if boiling water, if kettle not already heated by induction. Then microwave, but not gas or electric hob. Of course if O&A, you could, would put it on your manifold, where I'd just plug in ...

How to lower electric usage to reduce electric bill?
KhunLA replied to RolandRat's topic in General Topics
Move to a place that only charges the MEA/PEA rate (<5 baht) would be first choice. If you cut your usage to minimal, not much else you can do since budget traveler. -
How to pay cashless at 7-11?

Multiple options ... could have simply asked Miss Google -
Still using the least efficient things available ... ... no surprise there from the ICE crowd

Google images, just use correct 'search parameters', same as the old petrol station photo. No need to use my 'time machine' to go back to Vietnam War era petrol station at Udon Thani. Or was that more humour, as can't waste time taking photos of signs at petrol station. Having too much to fit in before the car is done charging. 3 P breaks, browse vendors & a munch takes long enough already ... ... oops, cars done ... got to go ...

None, especially if spicy. Just doesn't work with Thai food IMHO, unless something very bland is ordered. Maybe just a slightly non western version of grilled meats with non spicy sides, then maybe a wine might work. Sounds like a boring meal though, and almost an 'international' meal vs a Thai meal.

oh humour ... y'all need a for us folks that are challenged with soring through the trolling or not. It's so confusing at times.

You do have to wonder if some people live here, or have ever visited TH. How can you miss the annoying placards they put on you car, right in front of you face/driver seat, before waiting for you to tell them 'which grade of petrol & how much'

Touchy Subject... Something we don't want to think about...
KhunLA replied to AcuDoc's topic in Marriage and Divorce
Same as every country, abet, foreigner can't own land, but as already stated, she should have a will. And added protection for you / OP @AcuDoc, maybe another trusted person's name on paperwork, unless of course you know who you can transfer to, if needed (if staying or till sold) within the 1 year grace period, and still live there. This has already been discussed on so many threads, and all a bit of common sense. Know the law and prepare for the worst. My wife has will, and trusted daughter's name is on all important paperwork. No worries, unless they both crap out in the same car crash. Which case I just transfer to one of her 7 siblings till I sell it along with all the crap I inherit from my daughter. If sold within the year, which it would be, then I wouldn't even have to transfer to one of wife's sisters. -
No they haven't flip flopped. Public dispensaries are convenient, and promote competitive pricing, hopefully. Same as public / out of hospital pharmacies. Do you really want have to register at a hospital. Q up at 0600 hrs, if not earlier, to get the Q for services that start at 0830 hrs, and wait 3 hours, hopefully, to see a doc, to get a script, to get a small supply, only to repeat next month. I think not Any proof that the regulations have failed. No system will be perfect, but not a whole lot of news-blips of the system being abused. And they should be getting tax out of every sale now, along with license fees.

Seen it online, but doubt very much if it falls into anything close to legal use parameters. Maroccan Hash Green Labs, Krung Thep
