Thailand house of representatives approves same-sex marriage bill

No, never personally seen any. Any vids (full length) that I've viewed, and they all seemed justified getting a whack or 3, for their stupidity. Edited version always appear first, and they seem to be unprovoked random attacks. Then the full vid comes out ... and you think, dumb ass, what were you thinking
-
So they actually enforce that (90 kph @ U-turns), and all I have seen were posted for 90kph, and didn't notice anyone slowing down, self included. Last trip to Krung Thep was a while ago, so I guess I escaped their scrutiny. Hua Hin via Phetchaburi to Krung Thep is only real spot for us to do 120 kph. Then a few sections on Rama 2 / hwy #35. Knock on wood, haven't had a camera ticket for years, and try to do the speed limit, even use the cruise control now, as the EV is a really smooth ride, and when not using the cruise control, catch myself doing 100+ too often, especially if passing, and 120 kph isn't even notice, compared to the ICE version of same car. 90kph feels so slow at times, and many times, one of the slower cars on the road, as people blow by doing at least 120kph. They must really rack up the tickets during the year.

Finally they found a way to to use those computers and enforce the speed limits . Kudo for that. I think a lot of people will have the same surprise when renewing their registration/car tax payment. Now to implement that point system and carry that over to insurance costs for violators to pay higher premiums. Then just maybe, the highway death toll will come down. People only comply when it hits their wallets. Not like people haven't been warned for years a system was in place and would be instituted, eventually. Shame many of the tickets (millions) are null & void due to the 2 yrs statue of limitations.

Most non inter province roads are made for at least the weight of 6 wheel trucks. As stated already, EV are far from the heaviest, compared to many pick ups or SUV on the roads. Our MG ZS EV weights in at 1570 kg / 3454 lbs, a light weight compared to other SUVs. Kerb weights of the Toyota Hilux

Is stealing something of no value, really stealing ? Not like I would have paid to watch anything I've downloaded. Not even at a 50 baht price for a DVD copy. Regret almost all those purchases in the past.
-
Describe cheap ? Although, just buy a decent (Xiaomi fan myself, have 2), save the box, and take it back with you, if not staying in TH. You must like CM to return there. Or instead of taking with you, leave with trusted friend, and it will be here for your return.
-
Priced right, that could be game changer here, as locals love their trucks. Some actually need them ...
-
Sorry you had to sell the truck. If need any assistance, don't be shy ... ... we're here for, always happy to help ...
-
OK ... so just the Celerio at house for transport. Well that's certainly cheap enough, just not Chinse cheap ... ... Got it 👍 ... sad emoji ... wasn't me
-
Did you replace your truck yet ?

Certainly never stated that anywhere, or ever will. Electronic, especially newer tech is always going to be quirky and have it's issues. MG solved most with the ZS over the past 5 yrs. Not that I would have been one of the first to buy, lesson learned long ago, but would have kept me from buying in 5 yrs ago, if thinking that way. I have a couple functions (driver assist) disabled, as not a fan, and they need perfecting, especially on Thai road. Though quite happy with the rest of the car.

@saintdomingo As stated, our Kefir milk sets up quite nicely when chilled:

Bangkok scorched at 38°C with thunderstorms looming

I like the 'wonderground' site for weather. Fairly accurate, with nice 10 day forecast chart. Also has the low/high expected with the 'feel like' temp. -
OP may want to listen and take the advice of beach goers that actually live here/TH. Many, most poster do not, and or haven't visited in years. Even when visiting, may not even go into the surf, so there opinions are 'dated' to be kind. Current YT vids from the non-OMG reviewers may help also, as you can filter the seatch 'time' to current month. One stormy year, and the beach can easily be transformed, for good or bad, with the shifting sand. Common sense will tell you a long shallow beach in the blazing sun, will not be refreshing to many. Ao Manao at RTAF Wing 5 @ Prachuap Khiri Khan is a fine example of that. As are many of the Gulf beaches; Ban Krut and Thung Wua Laan, which are a couple favorites of mine. Though TBH, haven't actually been in them lately, for that same reason, not very refreshing on hot day, along with fecal counts. Andaman Sea is best choice for a 'beach' holiday, if planning on playing in the surf. It was stellar during most of covid, and we were there (Phuket) quite often then. But the tourist are back so there's that to deal with. Besides the numbers of, there's fecal count to consider, because of the number of tourist, and has got to be higher also. During covid, 5 people in the surf was rare, and that's not an exaggeration. Gulf beach holiday, best recommendation, surfside hotel with an infinite pool view. Doesn't get any better. The Gulf being iffy on any given day. At least CYA, so GF and or kids won't blame you for a crap holiday.

Yay on the Thunderstorm part, and hopefully a very early rainy season. Last outing and the temps were getting up there 35ish, and feels like 40ish. Kind of takes your motivation of walking around & exploring away in the afternoon sun. Good think I'm a morning person. Careful out there, stay hydrated. -
To add to that, some vendor's apps allow you to reserve a time slot, with a cancellation time period, if not showing up. We don't bother with reserving, as usually a spur of the moment decision to pull into a PTT anyway, as not really to charge the car. Just gets charged while we are there, as seems silly not to, since there. If traveling on weekends a lot, I read Q's do exist, so reserving may be beneficial. Only time we actually reserve, is if we are going to a MG charger at the dealer. MG only allows you to reserve 15 mins before arrival anyway, and restricted to MG 'member card' holders, issued to MG owners. Although the charger will accept other EVs, as long as you have a registered card. HAPPY MOTORING @UWEB Here's 2 threads that don't get much airtime, one for 'real ev users experience' and one for 'Charging Stations'

I use Charge Loma for quick reference, as has all the vendors, although I only filter the 4 that we use, not all of them as shown above. Yes, that screenshot is from the Charge Loma app. on GPlay That also is not current, and you'll need the individual vendor apps, for current info. Which you need anyway when actually charging at CSs. They have up to date locations, if operating, and if being used, how many plugs open & available. All quite simple once past the learning curve.

You all are going to have to wait till it squeaks by the Senate, before you're dancing in the streets. You might be setting yourself up for yet another disappointing time. Hang in there, sooner or later, you'll all be able to be just as miserable as the divorced cis folks. Damned if you do, if you do get the right, damned if you don't ... but you'll always have something to complain about. See, there's always a bright side to what ever the vote is. -
You sold it ... good choice, and hope you at least picked up a Neta V, though I know you'll never admit it Yes, I enjoy saving money while driving a much better performing vehicle. Who wouldn't ? We have more than enough to get by, thanks for your concern, as retirement and wife & kids future was very well planned. And growing faster than we can spend it, and kind of mind boggling actually. Opinions are easy to face, it's the fake facts and unrealistic scenarios that trolls post that are silly, and don't deserve replying to, once realizing they are simply trolling. They are the ones that can't face FACTS. I would never own another vehicle, that uses a fuel, that degrades the parts of the vehicle every time you drive it. That's just stupid. And pay for that stupidity. Petrol knocking of 40 baht again, and EV owners are the idiots. Let that one sink in .... take as long as you need, Don't hurt yourself.

We usually charge 30/35-90/95%, as I actually timed it, and 1% loads the same until it gets in the 90+% range. Up to 95%, then it noticeable slows down, to silly slow. This applicable to the MG ZS. That last 5% will take about 20 minutes to load, of so the car states, as we've never hung around to find out. I would have to be researching and of booking something or trolling AN to be there that long. Although our recent outing, we seemed to stop way more than usual, wife, myself & dog's bladder just don't retain as much, and we seemed to have the munchies more, and I'm not even smoking anything. We stop, we plug in, then we take care of business, leisurely, as it is on outing, not a work day, and time isn't money. Max time I've been at a charging station is about 45 ish minutes, meaning we were <30%, and topped up to 95% I don't how he can't see the number of fast chargers (one plug type filtered) that I see on the apps, as showed him the total, along with 3 separate vendors for Chonburi, and hard to believe he had a model 3 and be so impractical with his use & numbers, quoting times of 0-100% as if people are that stupid with their EVs. Technically true, if you're a total idiot. We took ours down to <18% one time, and never again, as that scared the hell out of me. As the CS was inop, and next one was just down the road, but if that one would have been iniop And I didn't want to be that guy, plugging in the granny charger and sleeping in the car at PTT

Aside from the very affordable EVs, solar systems are a fraction of the cost in the USA, so makes having an EV even more advantageous. We are basically off grid, with more than enough excess to keep the EVs charged up. And ... basically NO RE Taxes to speak of. That's a lot of extra pocket money every month; No RE tax no petrol cost no electric bill water bill less than $10 a month, more like $5
