  1. Making love, or having friends with benefits is disgusting ? That's a sad perception of one of life's enjoyments.
  2. Nobody is trying to change your mind, just trying the impossible ... to enlighten you. Doesn't work with a closed minded person. If you actually read the posts in the thread, and replies to you, it depends on the car & the power supply. Some cars will accept 50kWh, some less, some more. Mine will accept 74kWh, and a different MG will accept 117kWh. Sure others, accept different levels. MG ZS EV battery pack is 50.1kWh (46.3 usable) so if accepting 74kWh .... DO THE MATH ???? https://www.ananindustry.com/mg-zs-ev-2022.html Charging station range from ssslllooowww AC, why bother, to fast DC and faster DC. How long will it take, depends what the car will accept, and what the charging station will supply. We await your next, already answered or very easy to answer if searching. Why you even bother on this thread, since you'll never buy one. We know why ... BYE BYE Here's Neta V charging info: https://www.ananindustry.com/neta-v-2022.html
  3. @GreasyFingers Never heard of bread mix, but did a quick search, and did see it offered, along with sachet of yeast 'included', so the mix doesn't have everything needed. Which yeast is going to depend on sugar content of the bread. I use no sugar, so I use 'red' (for <8%). Other 2 version are brown & blue, depending on sugar content. "While fermipan® brown is the instant yeast of choice for high-sugar applications (greater than 15 percent sugar), fermipan® blue is advised for sweet goods with 8 to 15 percent sugar, and fermipan® red is the instant yeast of choice for baked goods with less than 8 percent sugar based on flour" https://www.lallemand.com/BakerYeastNA/eng/PDFs/LBU PDF FILES/2_13SWGD.PDF
  4. Was it diagnosed as bulging or herniated. How long have you had an issue with it ? When aggravated, has your past 'therapy' and med relieved the discomfort/pain complete, then returned after aggravating it again, or is this simply on going and getting worse ? Are you retired yet, or still working ? I've had back issues since I was 20 / 1974, suspect herniated, but never really diagnosed until aggravated badly @ 35 yrs old / 1989. That confirmed what it was since I was 20. Finally couldn't take it any more, and had surgery in 1997 @ 42 yrs old. T12/L1 & L4/L5, one disc up from your issue. Since yours is last disc, gets most of pressures, if all things being equal. Doc at time of surgery, said change jobs or I'll be seeing you again in couple years. He was almost correct, as aggravated it again, and a different doc wanted to slice and dice me @ 45 yrs old, (2000). I passed and decided to retire instead, and all has been good since. Diagnosed with 5 degenerative disc, when had surgery, along with bulging, possibly herniated since, after aggravating it again, which have apparently subsided, the bulging anyway. I behave myself, so they behave themselves. Don't know what new tech is available now, for repairing.
  5. I believe he charges his EV with 'excess' solar from the solar system. Myself, I do the same, charge with excess from the solar system, and have more than enough. When we contracted the house build, we also bought a new ICE car. So an EV, obviously wasn't in the game plan at that time. Due to some ignorance on my part, as not thoroughly researched them, along with awaiting upgrades or new tech, & incentives .... and most important, still it out of my transportation budget. More research, upgraded and a ฿240k govt incentive, not offered in 2020, talked me into it. Thankfully, and no regrets, and can't imagine myself ever owning an ICE car again. Have an E-motorcycle, bought 1 year before the car, and a DIY ebike also.
  6. If I ever return to the USA, I'm identifying as a black, Asian, female, lesbian. I'll get preferential small business loans, job opportunities, housing, medical treatment, rent ... freebies for me ,,, in many states. I was actually told when I applied for a small business loan, guaranteed by the government, denied by the way, that if I had a female or a minority partner, I would be approved no questions asked ... Mind-boggling.
  7. So basically, they are a straight couple, role playing as opposite sex ???? Shame they are not the same size, as they could get by with 1 set of clothes.
  8. So not a 'same sex' marriage ... ???? Saying, thinking you're a woman, but having a penis, does not make you a female ... ... IMHO
  9. In my camera bag; 3 cameras w/lens, underwear & socks ???? and too many extras. Laptop bag; laptop, speaker, lots of money & too many extras; chargers/card readers. Man bag; more money, important docs, TDS pen, specks, blade, cayenne pepper, straws, fork/spoon. Go bag in the car, JIC feeling spontaneous.
  10. I quite enjoy wearing more 'colorful' shirts, always did. Print/flowers/bird, brighter colors; Peach or Buddha forbid, pink-ish tone shirt. One of my friends, commented about one pink shirt ... just replied "I'm quite secure in my sexuality, so don't care what men think", got a few smiles from the women in the room. Looking gay isn't necessarily a bad thing, as some women may go out of their way to 'cure you' ... who am I to prevent them from showing me the way ???? I used to have neon peach wind breaker, I wore on scooter or if hiking, boating, out scuba diving. Again, friends would comment, one when diving ... reply was ... "when we're cast in sea after an oops, who's jacket do you think the rescuers will see". Same with trekking, nobody going to mistake me for a deer. High vis on a scooter never hurts.
  11. Yes, I avoid western foreigners at all cost. When accosted, approached by them ... "no hablo Inglés" ... usually works ????
  12. This is the one I have, though pretty sure I didn't pay that price, more like 500 baht. With shirt out, as usually is, you can barely see the bag, maybe lower half will be visible. If on scooter, I just take wallet & phone in pant's pocket. If in car, usually take bag, but I'm rarely far from the car, so rarely actually carry it, unless out & about exploring. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/men-waterproof-waist-drop-leg-bag-thigh-pack-zipper-multifunction-adjustable-for-cycling-outdoors-351933cm-i3610370782-s13518915786.html?spm=a2o4m.tm80167383.2074280300.1.40476BIL6BIL0x.40476BIL6BIL0x&priceCompare=skuId%3A13518915786%3Bsource%3Alazada-om%3Bsn%3A6bf057a9-1dc1-4db5-b691-2f017a20e143%3BoriginPrice%3A95472%3BvoucherPrice%3A95472%3Btimestamp%3A1686057342233
  13. @fredob43 Same here, and I actually get out & about a lot more locally, within 300kms round trip, as not a lot worth paying ฿7-800 to see again. Not going to pay a couple hundred baht to go have a meal that cost the same. But throw in free transport ... yea, I can do that. Charging at home from excess solar = FREE transport cost. I pop down to Ban Krut & up to Hua Hin quite often for a munch or shopping. If having to pay for petrol, I wouldn't bother. An performance wise, sorry, but an ICE, can't touch an EV. Just on one of my favorite roads, 4118 down through Surat Thani to Phang-Nga, pretty awesome pushing the limits. Not a sports car, but damn fun driving. Only thing better would have been dry road, and a real MC.
  14. AN will probably fold into bankruptcy, without my wisdom and humour to enlighten & entertain the masses ????
  15. @fredob43 "4 hours ago, fredob43 said: Ok a simple one how long does it take to recharge an EV from say 20% to full and what does it cost if your not at home???" _________________________________________ Asked & answered so many times. About 30 mins, depending on vehicle, the last 20% is a bit slower, to protect the cells. MG ZS EV 30-80% ... @ <฿8 per kWh @ on the road vendors 360 kms cost me ฿230 w/EV 360 kms cost me ฿900 w/ICE, same car/MG ZS, from personal experience, as I owned both ICE & EV
  16. From link: "At another Pride event in California last weekend billed as family-friendly, men engaged in a sexually explicit BDSM act on a parade float as children reportedly watched. " There's a time & place for everything, and not always in a 'public' parade for kids to watch. Again, doing themselves a disservice. There's a right way, and their way.
  17. A 500 kms trip would require me to stop once for about 30 mins. So almost same amount of time it would take me in an ICE, maybe 15 mins longer. One 30 min stop vs 15 w/ICE. If only stopping once. Headed to Phuket now, and noted 'wife's' first stop was at 100 kms mark ???? for piss, bev/snack. 2 more stops before getting to hotel at Phang-Nga, shy of 500 kms from home. Actually planned an overnight in Surat Thani province also, but weather not cooperating.
  18. I feel entertained, that's some hilarious stuff.
  19. yet another silly anti EV post ... apple & orange comparison. Thank you for your local air pollution contribution.
  20. Not quite sure what 'man bag' is, but I certainly have more than a few bags. Most with a specific purpose. My daily bag, which I even occasional put on my person, is called a leg bag. Wear around waist, but predominately hangs/lays against your leg. Long downward vs long across/fanny pak style. Holds quite a bit, wallets, PP, yellow/bank book, TDS pen, blade, specs. Though I cut he 'holster' straps off, as that's just silly, unless riding a MC. Takes the weight off my spine, and every little bit less, helps. Any weight above my waist, is accumulative as the day goes on, and I'll feel at night, when resting. I rarely carry anything, except from house to vehicle.
  21. So you're saying you don't have electric at the house ? That's where most people, inclusive, charge their EVs.
  22. They're revamping all the station along the southern line, from Phetchaburi to Chumphon. Guess in preparation for the millions of tourist expected to visit the "Riviera Thailand', as it's being promoted. Agree with Peter, and passengers load surely don't dictated the size of new stations, and money spent. Ours is going to be huge now, and nice, but could easily have been half that size.
  23. "which could see a reduced amount of rainfall, ..... by as much as 10%..... compared to last year" That's it, 10%. Last year was heavier, longer than average rainfall for us, so 1 reckon, we won't even notice it. This year, just started, and a wee bit late. But solid dark overcast and expect some rain this week.
