When O&A, plenty of choice for charging: MG Super Chargers ... if owning, or have member card PEA Volta ... @ BangChak petrol stations, and PEA offices (not all) EV Station Pluz ... @ PTT station (reserve only) EA Anywhere ... at many destinations, petrol stations, malls, even some MG dealers use their charging cables. Have not used yet. Elexa ... haven't use, but a favorite of one of the AN members eVolta ... we have, but not used, and don't like them, since most are not fast chargers. Would not recommend as we did, putting money on their app, as can't take it off. May be a while before we use that up. PlugShare is a good site to find charging stations w/reviews ChargeLoma is an app, with similar information All the vendor apps have more current information

I have a BEV, MG ZS, and love it. As long as you can charge at home, and are not one of those impatient drivers who need to be where ever ASAP, when on the road, O&A (out & about), then you'll probably love it also. Plenty of CS (charging station) country wide. Weekends, I read it's good to reserve when using CS, as they can get busy. I've yet to need to, but usually avoid weekends for other reasons. Saying that, we were O&A on weekends and yet to encounter or wait for a Q. I think once we just went to next CS couple kms down the road, and not Q related. If O&A quite often, then sign up & know the CS/vendors procedures before going O&A. Some require apps, CC, bank transfer. All quite easy. One just went to a 'reserve only' format, (EV Station Pluz) which I'm not a fan of, so will not be using in the future, unless last resort. We use; MG, since having, 1st choice PEA, 2nd choice, those 2 have been enough, though used EV Station Pluz quite a bit in the past. Either is always on the way, and rare to leave the highway to use any CS. IF so, then conveniently located, just off the main road. Atto 3 is a nice looking ride, and we see a lot of them. Economy wise, it really doesn't get any cheaper and easier for local transport. No longer needing to go to petrol station, just plug in at home for a fraction of the cost of petrol, now ฿37 for 91 ???? I would avoid comments from the naysayers, folks that don't own an EV. Most haven't a clue, and do nothing but spew a false, bias narrative of ignorance ... IMHO I don't give advice about diesel engine vehicles, as I've never owned one ... nuff said.

Pita ready to step aside if his party fails to win senators’ hearts

So no different than any other country ???? -
Google chrome date in Thai rather than Western calender
KhunLA replied to sirineou's topic in IT and Computers
THANKS ... don't know why people can't follow simple instructions. Why ask if not going to use the info. THANKS again. Note: not that I needed, as Thai calendar is easy enough to understand, but saves me 1 thinking process. Not that hard to realize if not 2566, then it's not this year -
Pita ready to step aside if his party fails to win senators’ hearts
KhunLA replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Wants the people to win over the hearts & minds of the Senators, he wants to get rid of. Hope he doesn't wonder why they didn't vote for him as PM. "Vote for me & I'll try to end your career" ... kind of wonder how he got to where he is today with such insight. -
Yellow House Book revisited
KhunLA replied to cooked's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Nothing says you can't have a YB, a lease & CoR all at the same time. If that's what you want or think you may need. PP, Pink ID or yellow book is all I've ever needed. When asked for ID or address, I offer the Pink ID first, and 99% of the time, that's all they need or want to see. -
Actually about 1/3 are venomous.

Just make yourself known, as we had a few at the last house, and usually scurried away, till couple years there, then we got used to each other. One would actually sun on the pad while I had my coffee, about 5m away. Along with setting on top the waterfall sunning, and about 10m away.

We travel w/dog, so need to plan ahead. Usually never book in advance, but do ask if available, and on the day, let them know we're coming. Not a big brekkie person, so usually not a factor when choosing. More important is a green area for the dog, and a view for us. We rarely stay in town at anywhere except Krung Thep.

Agree with others, probably Golden Tree Snake, common and fairly harmless to humans. Unless living way way way down south, you shouldn't run into any sumatran tree vipers, hopefully.

Chonlanan Confirms Pita Will Be Named PM Again Next Week
KhunLA replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Plenty of poor & uneducated have become quite successful. I'm living proof, as are many people I know in the USA, and here in TH. Blaming the system is not a reason, it's just an excuse. Have a Nice Day -

Banging you head against the wall over. & over hurts. There's hope, and there is reality. Instead of trying to change the system, use the system, as it can be very profitable. And ... without hurting anyone. Wonder why foreigners even care. I'm assuming you'll be down there protesting with them. A man of action instead of just talking talking on a forum ... good for you. -
apparently not in MWH's plan Simply cancel, easy enough.

Looks about right to me, just don't book more than a day in advance. We're out on a short one ourselves, maybe 3 weeks, only 3 nights into it ???? HAPPY TRAVELS ... Be Safe

Chonlanan Confirms Pita Will Be Named PM Again Next Week
KhunLA replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If you thought anyone 1 leader, of 1 party, of a coalition govt would have much influence for any change, under the current Constitution and Senate make up, then you're assessment may be accurate. Don't be too hard on yourself though, many make that mistake. -

The fact that he can't get the votes for PM, shows how little influence he would have as PM. -

Reading comprehension ... "or should say, not enough give a sh!t to disrupt their lives for things that simply don't effect them. Probably more accurate." In other countries you mention, apparently enough folks cared, or the powers wanting the change, were organized enough, and had the firepower to force the change they wanted. Same as all the coups here. Are they what the people wanted, or just the people with vested interest wanted. That's a huge difference. You really think Pita or Prawit as PM will change anything ? -
"he posted a pic of some gal off of social media....note he was not included in that pic either." A photo wouldn't prove anything. He's one of EC & myself ... Eric, look at the camera. Some chick strolled by as Harrison was about to snap the photo... ... and yet, we've never met ... go figure. Note, even our shadows are going the same way, and I suck at this stuff. The one of me taking a snap of Neil, now that's real ???? Yes we've met, there's the proof. Actually I did meet Buzz, on this rock, as we, the airlines I worked for, lost his bag, and I took his claim report ???? Now, can we move on back to Vices ...

Why are you paying for unnecessary medical insurance ? Medicare is free, part A or what ever. Keep that, just in case you need in the future. You never know. The other parts, I agree, are a waste to have if living here.

71.75 million here ... so a minute % = nobody cares in my world, or should say, not enough give a sh!t to disrupt their lives for things that simply don't effect them. Probably more accurate. Nothing's going change in our life, or most of theirs. Sadly, that's worldwide in almost all 'established, stable' countries. Corruption is embedded & rules, whether by ignorance or force or both. -

Violence will be put down, with violence. Those with the firearms win every time. Guess you all missed the protests that were put down just couple years ago, and some would suggest, that's why that 'covid/no gathering' rule was in place. Y'all miss that, along with the vids of water cannon truck, shipping container blockades, and possibly a bit of excess enforcement by authorities. Not that long ago (July & Oct 2020), protest and that little incident at Thammasat Uni. where students were arrested for 'sedition' for just trying to organize a protest. And I'm the clueless one ... ???? Oh yea, and nothing changed, just solidified their power. Oct 6, 1976 or May 1992 ring any bells, or just before the last coup ... people dying in the streets. Oh yea ... and nothing changed. -

Clueless ? ... all that, and has anything changed ? ... if you think anything is going to change, then I'm not the one who's clueless ????
