I was going to recommend POD account but Thailand doesn't seem to have them? Maybe you check at your bank? I have all US accounts like that. "Thai Bank Accounts - P.O.D.? While at the bank this morning, I asked the manager about changing the payable on death name on my account. He said they don’t have P.O.D. in Thailand. Admittedly, it has been many years since I opened those accounts so I may not be remembering correctly. The bank manager says it all has to go through the court system in Thailand for someone to collect the funds when someone passes away. Egads."

I've same problems. I speak 3 languages and understand well one more but can't speak much. I used to have 2 more so I understand how difficult it's for Thais who don't have international contacts, except in Pattaya and Bangkok, and even Universities are a big joke. Also, some have terrible translation programs! I don't use any to speed up their learning and it has helped. But I am patient and never critical. I help and brush off when it's impossible to understand. I hope to find better and faster way to help them. It IS frustrating many times but would I swap to Euro or US gals? No way. To Spanish? Maybe...

I'm nor sure about that... maybe now but not in '80s. The paper got soggy in minutes... Only food I eat in London was Fish & Chips and Bangers & Smash at local pub. Both were cheap and life savers for poor student on Zero budget. Very tasty too. Healthy? Didn't come in mind. That's the reason to try again! I also eat too much chocolate ice cream but who cares? Makes me feel good.
