    40 million baht payment is not a privilege unless you are taking a controlled substance. It will open up land take over by the Chinese. Maybe that should be thought about long and hard.

    So primarily it was the Chinese that were the problem as they were the majority but a long way. This should, along with past experience, throw up warning signs but I doubt if it will.

    In Future Park Rangsit near the gold shops this usually a guy who repairs gold jewellery. If you are around there see if he is there and let him have a look at the piece in question. I have had stuff repaired by him. He did a really good job and was cheap.

    With the 2 year visa you dont need to show onward ticket. My wife had that visa and was never asked for an onward ticket.
