  1. "the local police announced that they would make a definite effort to get rid of "ladies/ladyboys" hanging around Beach Road", 555. I've been living in Pattaya for the past 17 years and statements like that come out every 4-6 months. The BiB make their usual quarterly sweeps and fine the streetwalkers a massive 100b and things return to the way they were very soon after.
  2. Too many slow types with a low IQ here in the LOS. They can't understand basic stuff then complain and point fingers, 555.
  3. I used to be a medic in the military and irrigated many ears over the years, removing impacted ear wax or what we called ear potatoes, 555. I used to use a hydrogen peroxide/normal saline solution and irrigate with a 20 or 30 cc syringe with a flexible cut off 18g IV catheter tip and had decent success, but after irrigating one patient that didn't know he had a perforated ear drum he started to become sick (turned out he the solution made it's way to his stomach). Then one day a doc taught me just use the syringe & catheter and warm water, start off with low pressure and gradually increase. I got so good at it I'd be done in 5 minutes and the look on the peoples faces when they saw what came out of their ears was pure shock.
  4. Over the years I've done the oil trick, replaced motors, replaced this spinning gear thing and replaced this plastic Like Crossy, when the fan is on it's death bed, it's stripped for parts or sent off to the inlaws.
  5. What city are you in? I bought some looking almost the same as posted in the OP (mine has 4 openings not 6) here in Pattaya at "Do Home" about a 10 minute drive north of town on Sukhumvit Rd, IIRC about 20 baht each 2-3 years ago.
  6. I just use a simple razor when I need to remove splattered paint off the tiles, just a few baht in any beauty/make-up section of the supermarkets.
  7. Not all Tevas are made the same, I had one pair that were comfortable and lasted many years, I bought another pair of Tevas but not the same style and they were uncomfortable and felt cheap. I'd suggest using Lazada and don't buy their cheapest ones. https://www.lazada.co.th/shop-mens-shoes/teva/?spm=a2o4m.pdp_revamp.0.0.5f6e326cZwJLOr
  8. In past years I'd drive around town hoping to find a place selling my style/size/price range, nowadays Lazada is the best place to shop for me.
  9. Question about the 2nd portion of the process, what is needed to show financial suport? How many of past years tax returns will I need to show?
  10. I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure you'll need an official letter from the child's parents allowing her to leave Thailand. Not sure where to get one though.
  11. Another option is to take the coins to Big C Extra customer servicer desk upstairs and they'll gladly help you out, but best to sort and count them yourself first.
  12. When you got legally married in April 22, did you register the marriage with the US Embassy? And were you 2 legally married when she was rejected the other times? About 7 years ago, my Thai wife applied for a B2 visa and was quickly approved, but we have a son together, she owns our house, and at the time we had already been married for about 6 years. I didn't use a agency as the required paperwork/instructions are pretty straight forward and easy to understand.
