    I just love it when developer says that all units were sold out when reality the "owners" just paid some ridiculous low booking fee. This is why in a year or 2 these finished building by the miracle of god suddenly have some units often offered at the discount because the buyer could not close the loan.

    Also food Choices in Malaysia are much better.... and often cheaper. I would not sell everything and retire there as they are also known to pull some thing out of their behind, but this was always my preferred destination over Thailand.

    Well thanks for that. Under no circumstances should one have money in Thai bank account and that includes marriage/retirement funds starting in 2024. Clearly stated in the article disguised as "wealth inequality" I also think Thai baht is on the way to major devaluation.
