  1. Many Farang mugs who buy a condo in Thailand don't have a clue that it only comes with a 1 year warranty. The one and only reason for this is the shoddy quality. Me and wife have been renting a "Luxury" Ananda (sue me) condo for 3 years. We moved in when the condo was brand new. After 1 year the floor tiles were getting wet and damaged. It turns out the whole bathroom was misaligned and the water from the shower was leaking into the bedroom damaging both the walls and the floors. The landlord (from Taiwan) had to spend tens of thousands of baht to destroy all the "luxury" bath marble and fix the shower flooring. The walls (literally) and windows leak every time there is a heavy rain. The aircon just died after only 3 years. The built kitchen stuff is low quality. Who buys this junk?
  2. I completely agree. But no need for such comparisons. Apple's target audience is not even close to someone buying a luxury watch or Lambo. It is targeted mass delusional brand hores who are attempting to make themselves appear financially better than they really are. Same people who buy under 40,000k LV bags and Oyster Perpetual. It's a freakin' phone not a learjet. There is nothing funnier to watch than low classes fighting over brand names that made them rich by such low classes.
  3. Second fanboy confirming that 30k iPhone 15 comes with USB 2 and 60Hz Too funny
  4. There is a price you pay for everything and I don't mean the financial aspect of it.
  5. You just went on a 3 paragraph rant claiming i hate apple products and am an android fanboi while you essentially admitting 13promax is no good for you anymore. Nah...i'm not an android fanboy. Whatever company releases the phone that suits me in that momemt it time that is what I will buy - no obsessions about the logo and brand. These sort of obssive fanboy arguments have been going on since commodore/atari days. There is no phone that is better aa they all do the same they are designed to do for the past 15 years. There is nothong revolutionary about Apple's latest phone or the one efore that.
  6. If iphone is so great then why are you going from 13pro to 15 pro? Probably because apple specs underdeliver every single year. My wife's note 9 is still going strong. She will only upgrade to garaxy 24 ultra because she is running out of storage.
  7. Thanks for confirming that the latest and greatest iPhone is 60hz. And USB 2.0 too ROFL
  8. I love posts like this. Locals did nothing for years except calling a celebrity to intervene.
  9. 99.9% of Thai condos come with a freakin 1 year warranty. BYD seems awesome in comparison.
  10. My wife is 100% Chinese, speaks Chinese and also has connections in China. She does not know about BYD as of now but she will.
  11. BYD will open a plant in Thailand. My wife was hired by American/Spanish company and one of their target eutomers is BYD. Of course most of their parts are made in China but are tested for speed and quality, Considering she has connections with engineers and garages here in Thailand I think she knows exactly which cars to avoid. And MG is one of them.
  12. ROLL EYES Considering she is an auto part supplier for the past 15 years I think she knows what she is talking about. You don't have a single clue what goes inside these cars.
  13. Wife just test drove BYD Dolphin and was mildly impressed especially by 699k 1.8% price tag. She avoids buying Chinese cars but perhaps getting 8 years out of this car (warranty supposedly 8 years) is worth it even if it is completely unsellable after that. They also pay first year insurance premium. Whatdoyathink?
  14. 2 hours later...
  15. Sure you obey the laws you hypocrite. I can give you 50 examples that you obey laws in Thailand much more so than you would back in Britain. Yes, you seem to be proud to bang anything that you can pay or download illegally in this corrupt country, but you obey visa laws, you obey the monarchy and obey anything that can prolong your mongering in Thailand. You have to thus making you even more law obeying sheep that the people you describe
  16. Yes, it seems it is better to go universal for Thai nationals instead of paying for insurance. You should know that for Thai insurance to have any sort of cover there also needs to be a life insurance included in the plan. My wife has been paying for private insurance for almost 20 years including life insurance. From what I read it allows her unlimited cancer treatment BUT ONLY ONCE! She also has private insurance from her employer including social insurance. All of them seem to be completely useless as she still has to pay for tests out of pocket and they would not even pay for a tonsil removal which was recommended by her doctor. I was also with AIA and found it completely useless it was outpatient care. My wife's father on the other hand as I wrote in another thread paid for MRI and a month later got a free surgery lined up for his torn muscle using a 30 baht scheme.
  17. Yeah.... that's the thing. You invite yourself to social media you will be judged on social media. Like that idiot teacher Luke who just couldn't help himself and his ego in Thailand.
  18. Like you I was asked last year, not this year. But I didn't risk it and left the money there.
  19. I am asking this for my wife. She has been paying into social insurance for over 20 years. Last 15 years using the maximum contribution. There is something she is trying to explain to me that does not make any sense. Basically if we move to Canada she is saying that she should stop paying social insurance because the government will calculate the amount she was paying at her last job (which was a maximum). She says that if she continues paying while basically unemployed, the government will calculate the lower contribution payments which will lower her payouts once she retires. Is this correct?
  20. My ex wife put 1 million of her own money for sinsod which was returned to her. AND her family built us a small house with their own money including a fruit garden, some rubber trees, chicken. Of course I had no claim to any of that once I divorced. I perv at her facebook pictures sometimes. She seems happy every time she goes back to her village. Most of these Thai women would be happy without us Farang mugs if they weren't poor
  21. No. That is not how it works at all.
