Didn't your wife work and contribute to the family finances? Mine did, half or more for the entirety of our marriage. No kids, thank God and all that's holy, so parting ways was cheap and easy Not the men that I knew. I'm from Gen X and women earn their keep. What good is an indolent wife? You guys are welcome to live any way you choose. If your woman gave up her job to be your full time companion she does need to be compensated; it's the only reasonable way to order things. I do object to being labeled "rotten" for shagging a well used tart who is still employed and trying to run a game to gain control over me and my finances. There were simps before me and more to follow. One day a prince will arrive from Blighty and hand her his ATM card and pin number. Who knows, maybe I'll get an invitation to their wedding. Until then I'll keep her warm and her skills up to par. A few baht for som tam and Sangsom should do the trick for now.

What makes me rotten? Shagging a middle aged woman who already has God knows how many simps under her belt? Men here don't get "taken", they give it away willingly. Do you pay a woman to be your wife or "girlfriend"? Give her a monthly "allowance" due to an arbitrage of age and educational level? Most of our contemporaries back home consider that a pretty rotten thing to do.

It doesn't take long to uncover the bad women. I've found one and am contemplating whether or not to use her like a rented mule and cut her loose before the bill comes due. My lease is up at the end of February so I could move and cut contact. She's trying to line me up as a chump. My experience with women like that is that they'll shag a man rotten for quite a while before putting the squeeze on him.

That's why there were mushrooms growing in her skin folds. I came to read about aircon and received enlightenment on a more pressing subject. Thank you.

As a young man I worked for the railway for a couple of summers. One stint was working on a steel gang. There was a guy operating a tie puller who got too far ahead and had to stop for the day whilst the rest of the gang caught up. Well, the young fella was alone in his machine, a mile up the track from the rest of us and feeling rather bored. There were no ipods or smartphones back then, so he decided to treat his body like an amusement park. Unbeknownst to him, the foreman walked up to the machine, climbed up the ladder, and found the operator sugaring his churro in the cab of the machine, like some of you office workers did on Zoom calls during covid. Sometimes podcasts and filthy YouTubers aren't the only option to while away an uneventful afternoon.

Is it wrong to play the woman who fancies herself clever and tries to play the long game on a foreigner? I've met a couple of decent women and a couple of snakes. It might be fun to string one of the snakes along and see how long it takes her to clue in that there's no pot of gold at the end of this rainbow. No lying involved, as I don't do that, but perhaps a pinch of false hope and a dash of innuendo could make the game interesting. Does anyone have any experience or anecdotes about such an undertaking?

Fellatio on a road trip is a fine thing. The miles just roll by. Your woman will take a good trip and make it epic.

Chonburi Embarks on Ambitious Smart City Transformation Project

I'm down with that, as long as I can get one of Klaus's Planet of the Apes tunics. It looks like a cross between Roy Orbison and Dr. Zaius. -
Some of those "managers" have ended up in the monkey house under the auspices of being pimps. Invariably someone shows up with a brown bag full of brown notes and the misunderstanding is soon cleared up.

I had breakfast with a friend from Yorkshire and he explained the scouser and benefits comment. Sorry, that must be a kick in the crotch

I don't regret declining on such an auspicious day because I see these women a few times per week and the opportunity is still there but with fewer expectations. I can't stand crowds, so that factored into the decision as well.

Invited to Loy Kratong. Does it Mean Anything?

Do men really do that? How could a woman respect a man who doesn't even respect himself? -

Too much for my own good, but I'm very cautious about letting any of them into my home or life. In Pattaya there are a million options to have one's physical needs taken care of with only one payment request -after the needs have been met. -
Sadly, there are idiots who do just that. The manager comps them a beer (costing the bar 35 baht?). The customer feels obligated to reciprocate and is charged 150 or 200 baht, with the lady drink commission going to the manager. There was a bar on Soi Pothole that must be from the same group. It was full of middle aged meatheads all wearing the same shirts and being loud/boisterous. Another customer said something about "scousers" and "benefits" but I'm Canadian and have no idea what that was about.

I was asked by 2 women earlier today and posted the same question in another area of the forum. Did you go? I decided not to.

Maybe he dressed up as a lady and looked at that tat in a mirror whilst rubbing himself furiously. I'm old enough to have been raised believing that tats were for criminals and sailors. My views have changed of late, and I've been cruising the studios of Pattaya looking for an artist to tattoo Yoda's face on my scrotum in lime green.

They don't know me well enough for that. All of our interactions have been positive and sincere. -

Yep, it's bloody sleazy. My agent sure got them "in the mood". I submitted my passport for a retirement extension on Thursday afternoon and just picked it up from the agent's office an hour ago. Good until mid January 2025. A friend of mine used the same agent for a 30 day extension last year and was able to have it done well before the last week. I'm not here to schill for agents, it's just that I've been well served since Jomtien ignored the law about embassy income letters. The interest on the 800k at home more than covered the 12,500 baht in agent's fees.

Thanks for the fast and humorous replies. The women don't know each other and I am not romantically involved with either. Both are great, hard working women not involved in the nightlife industry and of an appropriate age. I've flown solo for a year and it has been fun, but your responses are making me think. -
I've had 2 women invite me to Loy Kratong tonight and they acted kind of sheepishly about it. Is there some significance to the invitation besides wanting to hang out?

Thailand on track to legalise same-sex marriage
Bobthegimp replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
We all would if we could, but women are the gatekeepers of sex. When you've got the sexual morals of men x 2 things go off the rails and you end up with the fast tracking, popper huffing lifestyle. Straight people don't bareback 12 strangers a night in bath houses. Congratulations on being the exception that proves the rule where monogamy is concerned. We both know the reality about the vast majority of homosexual relationships, and you didn't try to sidestep the issue by stating some drivel about "not being a monolith". Will any gay posters come clean about the prolific promiscuity amongst gay men? It seems like I'm the only straight guy who has been told the stories by gay men who don't try to pass themselves off as monks. My older sister was a fag hag and most of her friends spent a fair bit of time at our house. Aside from one guy who was a serial rapist (drugging Russian sailors) they were all decent guys. -
Thailand on track to legalise same-sex marriage
Bobthegimp replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
That wasn't a troll post, it was the post from a man who remained in a monogamous marriage for 16 years. I don't know a single gay man who lasted 16 weeks in a state of monogamy, much less 16 years. It's bloody hard, as any man who has been through it can tell you. My gay acquaintances wanted the benefits and status that accompany marriage, but then for the institution to accommodate their polyamourus lifestyle. That's why no sober person can call a gay union a "marriage" with a straight (no pun intended) face. A gay man understands marriage about as well as I understand the San Francisco bath house scene, which is not at all.
