Does your Thai wife keep you on a short leash?
save the frogs replied to NorthernRyland's topic in Marriage and Divorce
one reason I broke up with at least 2-3 gfs was due to arguments on where to live. either different country or different city or different area of the city I didnt want to live in. it's probably the 3rd biggest cause of divorce after money and infidelity. -
it might bring bad luck to your life to perpetually dump women as though they're disposable rags. if things get really bad, yeah move on. but otherwise try to make it work.

Why is Trump Really Running for Office Again?
save the frogs replied to RSD1's topic in Political Soapbox
This thread might very well be the most genius political thread we've had on here. Since you brought up The Joker, let's run with this idea. What do Trump and The Joker have in common? 1 - Criminality, all around bad dudes. Trump has criminal convictions ... 2 - Mask. Trump has a disfigurement? Orange face. Joker has a mask. Trump even has a nickname for it, Mr Orange. All good Batman villains have nicknames based on their peculiarities. 3 - What do both Trump and The Joker most represent? CHAOS Your quote about The Joker is not the most important quote from the film. This one is: Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I'm an agent of chaos. Oh, and you know the thing about chaos? It's fair!” 4 - Finally, it remains to be seen how things will play out with Trump. But it's important to note that the chaos The Joker inflicts on Gotham is not for no rhyme or reason. If you watch the film carefully, it's The Joker who saves Gotham from the corruption. Batman is merely used as a pawn. The Joker appears to be a bad guy all throughout the film, but ultimately saves Gotham. So will Trump bring about a better established order in the US through some chaos first? Maybe yes. Maybe that's his role in history. May take 5 years to find out. As Steve Jobs pointed out in a famous speech, you can only connect all the dots looking back in time. Things don't make sense until you look back and connect the dots because you cannot see the future picture yet. And in the movie, Joker is 50 moves ahead of everyone. No one knows what he's doing or why he's doing it. Trump too. He's that much of a genius. -

Do you believe in God and why
save the frogs replied to ivor bigun's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Where the God peeps at? Ok, I will bring up an unconventional concept. What is a MotherF***er? Why is that one of the most common swear words? And the worst thing you can call someone. The theory is that it comes from the Greek myth Oedipus Rex. Which was WRONGLY interpreted as "men want to sleep with their mothers". But what it actually is ... is that people have an innate desire to RETURN TO THE WOMB ... or return to whence they came from. Deep, no? So next time someone calls you a MotherF***er, take it as a compliment. -

Trump is running for office to mess with people's minds is what I'm gathering. And it seems to be working. People cling to every word he says, no matter how insane. -

Are you "all in" in your relationship?
save the frogs replied to sidjameson's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
No health insurance? Lots of people stick with their partner until their dying breath, but most people don't bankrupt themselves in the process. -
The problem is that when one day a scenario like that really does happen .... and the day will come when it will ... no one will believe it. LOL You think the aliens aren't coming to take over the white house? Think again, boy.

You guys got a lot of balls not worrying about your arteries exploding and diabetes still eating this stuff at relatively advanced ages. I learned the hard way that I had a few too many Big Macs too late in life, then I stopped. Life is hard. And people can't deal with the hardness of life, so shovel crap in their mouths for a hit of dopamine. Of course a big mac "hits the spot". These foods are dangerous highly addictive drugs.

Statins: A Vital Consideration for Those Over 70, Study Suggests
save the frogs replied to Social Media's topic in World News
people can try to educate themselves about supplements that enhance heart health with minimal side effects. but then mixing supplements with meds could be problematic ... for example, aged kyolic garlic capsules may be helpful to prevent heart attacks with no side effects. -
Statins: A Vital Consideration for Those Over 70, Study Suggests

my understanding is they can save people's lives in the short term. but depending on statins for long-term use while not making lifestyle changes may not save you. -

No, that was likely the straw that broke the camel's back. The articles does mention feud over land. I understand perfectly as I've had sibling rivalry going on for years and years in my family. It's petty power struggles. In my family too, the same thing happened. I had no say in my parents' funerals because my siblings want to control everything. But I don't shoot people. I just keep my phone off the hook. Families should have max 1 child to avoid sibling rivalry nonsense.

My name is Colin Neville from Dorset, I am not ‘Bob’

Bob likes to play mind games. But he's a Mickey Mouse operation compared to all the mind games Trump has been playing you with.
