Problem is it may take years to see the outcome of some of these decisions. Also, if his plan succeeds, then one thing people can say about him that he is fearless. Ie he's not afraid of allowing the markets to crash and have a temporary recession ... and deal with all the backlash that goes against it ... including from his own population and other countries ... So he appears to be fearless. Maybe the only leader fearless enough to take these risks with what he's trying do to.

There was a trade imbalance against the US. Now, the tariffs are exaggerated in the opposite directoin. But Trump is trying to get the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates. Trump's real estate background taught him to re-finance the debt in low interest rate environments. So his goal is to re-finance the US debt at lower interest rates, re-inustrialize the US, and fix the current trade imbalance. He's not delusional and crazy.

Before these tariffs, there was an imbalance. The US charged the world about 2.5 per cent on average. And the world charged the US about 7.5 per cent tariffs on average. So it was disadvantageous for the US.

Most people are still getting a lot of crap information from fake news sites who are putting a negative spin, but don't know what they're talking about. Here, watch this. I think this guy's theory explains what Trump is doing.

I will admit that a lot of this economic stuff is way over my head. But you people have it all figured out? Some economists are predicting that the tariffs could be positive economically in the long-term. Maybe there is some sort of gamble/risk involved in what he'd trying to do. Watch out for fake news vultures pouncing on Trump and preying on the average person who doesn't understand economics enough to understand what he's doing or trying to do.

And then you need to do sth called ... budgeting.
