  4. millions of people have toenail fungus. which suggests to me that the foot is not meant to be covered in socks and shoes all day.
  5. I didn't want to bring up the guy's waist size.
  6. sometimes stocks are predictable, but most of the time it's a fugazi, it's a fugazzi. (like bob smiths' threads) and most of the time nobody knows if it's going up, down, or sideways.
  7. privileged westerners making 10 times more than the locals getting dictatorial over a few eggs that should be cooked like back home and getting waitresses fired. make sure to include that in your memoirs.
  8. If you're trolling, you are very amusing. Pat yourself on the back and keep up the good work. But if you're dead serious, do you want to be responsible for a waitress getting fired because your eggs weren't cooked perfectly? Rather silly and cruel, no? Cheers, bobby baby.
  9. I may very well have misinterpreted your post. But I'm too lazy to go back and reconstruct the scene of the crime. Sorry.
  10. yes, i have a reading and comprehension problem. should have mentioned it earlier.
  11. they only play the annoying xmas songs, but there are some good xmas songs.
  12. not sure if you can view without a vpn? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndpgCZj9V7k&t=56s
  13. I met a Philipino guy in his 70s ie from the Marcos era. He tried to overthrow the local mayor way back in the day and they hired hitmen to take him out, so he had to escape to farangland to stay alive. And he bragged about owning a gun. Just watched a video on Youtube by a farang living in Dumugete. He claims a lot of farangs are behaving badly there ie he showed a video of 2 farangs fighting in the street. I've exhausted my Philippines anecdotes.
  14. It's not a good idea to formulate your opinions about the world based solely on dramatic current mainstream media events.
  15. Ok, thanks for sharing that story. It can be cruelty or abuse and that's not a good thing. Personally, I think gentle persuasion is enough. Then the person should be left alone. Being a psychologist for prisoners sounds like a very challenging job!
  16. pattaya is a hub of beer bellies, man.
  17. it's not good to have too much complacency when living abroad that everyone with the same skin color or who is from the same country as you or who is a farang is your friend.
  18. "Imagine there's no countries." - John Lennon, Imagine And Osho. Not that I agree with everything he says, but he's probably right here.
  19. you exercise in your flip flops? never tried it. i think i might.
  20. So he was a Storm Trooper in Star Wars before relocating to Thailand?
  21. I nearly got attacked. There was a guy, I think he was Arab ... he was being agressive with a street worker on Beach road. I told him to leave her alone and then he directed his anger towards me. Don't get involved in other people's disputes unless you're ready to get into a fight or get yourself killed.
  22. yeah, true. online communication is very different.
  23. and yet you converse quite a bit with farangs on aseannow with your 9500 posts
  24. no dress shoes is understandable. but no sneakers = you never exercise best of luck with the overweight issues, diabetes and all the rest of it while you're bar hopping in flip flops.
