Russia Dismisses Trump’s Ukraine Peace Plan Offers 3 Day Ceasefire
Cameroni replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Will an admission by the President of Ukraine suffice? Zelensky admits he never intended to implement Minsk agreements. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted on Thursday that he had previously told German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron that the Minsk agreements were "impossible", and he did not plan on implementing them. The Ukrainian president said Kiev used the agreement only for the exchange of prisoners of war. Russian President Vladimir Putin said weeks later that Russia was hoping for peace agreements back when it signed the Minsk agreements in 2014, but it was fooled. "We all endured, endured, endured and hoped for some kind of peace agreement, but now it turns out that we were simply fooled," Putin told reporters. "After the revelations of [ex-German Chancellor Angela] Merkel, [ex-Ukrainian President Petro] Poroshenko, and other politicians about the true goals of the Minsk agreements, it became obvious to everyone that Russia was not the source of the conflict in Ukraine," Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu also said. https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/zelensky-admits-he-never-intended-to-implement-minsk-agreeme -

The Airport mall is under refurbishment at the moment, you can't really go there. Hopefully it will be a lot better, it's also showing its age. Chiang Mai needs a new spanking modern mall like Icon Siam. The population is there to sustain it as the overcrowding of Central Festival and Maya shows. But yes, parking there at the weekends is a pain, mostly because these malls decided to close off entire areas to "sponsors" like banks, or condos. -

Obviously you are very poorly informed. The Ukrainians themselves have admitted that they breached the Minsk agreements. Ukraine officially admitted violating the Minsk Agreements by using a Turkish-made Bayraktar drone in the east of the country, for instance. In September 2014, Kiev signed a memorandum envisaging a straightforward ban on flights of combat aviation and foreign unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). But Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander Valery] Zaluzhny reported flights and even combat use of UAVs along the line of contact. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed that the Ukrainian military had used the Turkish-made Bayraktar UAV. In accordance with additional ceasefire control measures, in effect since July 27, 2020, the sides are prohibited from using unmanned aerial vehicles in the vicinity of the line of contact. Only the Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Ukraine (OSCE) is allowed to use drones for its monitoring activities. -

No, that's misinformation. Actually it was Ukraine that broke those agreements. Why would Russia keep agreements which Ukraine breaks? -

This is just a reality, the American market is the richest and most attractive in the world, and whatever pain it takes, companies will want to be in it. Trump knows his hand, his department store analogy is exactly right. -

This is not a "belief". This is the reality of the world. Just as the USA gets to determine how other sovereign nations conduct themselves, witness Panama being invaded when they sold secrets to Cuba, if those sovereign nations are in the US sphere of influence, so does Russia get to determine how other sovereign nations conduct themselves, if they are in the Russian sphere of inluence. And Ukraine conducted herself abominably, jumped into bed with hansum man America and then did a gangbang with Europe on top, when its boyfriend Russia was paying her energy bills. Cheating is an ugly betrayal, and Ukraine now pays the price. -

Yes that worked very well with the Minsk I and Minsk II agreements, lol. Total failure. -
America has emerged....as an international laughingstock

It's not just that the tariff war is different in nature to Brexit, but the UK economy and the US economy are fantastically different beasts. If the UK put tariffs like the US in place, people would indeed laugh and walk away, nobody needs the UK market as much as they need the US market. This is what I meant. You see companies ACTUALLY need the US market, but they never needed the UK market as much. Whilst the current economic state of Britain would indicate that they needed the EU more than vice versa, of course the EU also needed the UK a lot, and is a lot poorer without the UK, so it's a fairly close run thing. It's not close at all with the US economy however, which is gigantic by comparison with the UK I have not doubt at all that global trade is already changing shape due to the US tariffs, a fundmeantal reordering is and will take place, due to US decisions. You do have a point that there is some pain involved for the US, some still to come, however, unlike the UK, the US can really benefit from this trade war, in ways the UK could never benefit from Brexit. China's market is huge, but its purchasing power is greatly underdeveloped, only 79th in the world, the US is around 89,000 and China around 13000 PPP. That's true of course, the world economy willl go on without the US, however, some companies will collapse if they cannot export to the US, already some Chinese factories are closing. -
Yes, a Thai girl told me this a few days ago, said in the provinces foreigners are still minor celebrities and the locals want to talk to them, watch them and touch them, just because they never see a foreigner. The difference in the West is of course they get Arabs, Turks, Africans and East Europeans rammed down their throat, even a small city will have a large number of them these days.

Doesn't matter, the guy that wasn't invited to the funeral whom nobody knows, says the guy who was invited and at the front row was ostracized and gets no respect. Another quality thread with quality information.

Yes, Promenda closed. It wasn't because of Covid. It was just not a vey good mall. Even before Covid almost nobody went there. Same with Kad Suan Kaew., just not very good. However, good malls like Central Festival and Maya are overrun with customers. Sure, an Icon Siam would not be bad to have here, I think Chiang Mai could do with one more mall, at least, especially now that Promenada is gone. The weather these days is 40 degrees now, as nice as organic neighbourhoods are, malls air conditioned numerous dining and entertainment options have a lot of advantages. -
That's a fair statement to make. Thais are extraordinariily open to foreign people, relatively speaking. Obviously they will still idolize and respect their own people and traditions, but by international comparison they are open to foreigners. But yes, to be truly Thai, I don't think even people who speak perfect Thai or obtained citizenship willl be viewed as such by the Thais. I have also had the experience that in other countries I would feel more part of lthe local populace. You do feel an outsider quite markedly in Thailand, despite their openness and friendliness. It's a paradox. I suspect this has a racial componenent. If you are in a country that is racially not far removed from your own look, it makes it easier, whereas if you are clearly racially not part of a country, then that makes it generally a lot harder. Not pc, but probably the case.

Oh I have no doubt about that, it is probably among the deepest religions you can study, built as it is on the Vedas, Unpanishads, and folk custom from so many people, There is a lot of talk about Zen, Chan, but of course these are all mere refinements of the yoga meditation techniques. Just studying yoga could take a lifetime. And would be time very well spent. Indeed if one looks a bit deeper the things these various deities represent are interesting. Indeed some aspects of Hinduism have become all pervasive, karma, samsara, moksha, and these aspects are fascinating. I just could not bring myself to worship Vishnu or Shiva. It is too far removed and a step too far for me. -
Crime Jealous New Foreign Boyfriend Stabs Russian in Pattaya

In that scenario both exes should not just be in touch, but be in a good relationship so the children do not suffer from impaired development. However, more often than not what actually happens is that the mother swiftly moves on to jump on a new phallus, and as she then has to make room emotionally for the new man she attempts to freeze out the Ex husband by being obnoxious to him. That scenario is a very painful and difficult one. -

Indeed Mike, fair point. There is a reason for this. Whilst I have the utmost respect for Indian Philosophy and Buddhism, surely among the deepest products of the human mind in all our history, with Hinduism I have to say it is just too alien to me. Whilst the Vedas, Upanishads and Baghavad Gita make interesting reading, as does rebirth, the various deities just don't do it for me. It doesn't even seem like a religion, but more like contradictory custom and beliefs. So I left it out for that reason, not something I could subscribe to. -

It does come with quite a lot of beneifts. I woudl not mind if they put up a few more shopping malls, though with Central Fesival and Maya there are two good options already. You can still go to organic neighbourhoods, Sanpakoi springs to mind. The centre still has its charm with the river walk. The congestion in San Kamphaeng is being dealt with now as they build new bypass options. All the tourists I date, I had another date with a Russian woman this weekend, they all love it here. -
Is buying supplements on Lazada safe?
Cameroni replied to save the frogs's topic in The Wellness Zone
I order NMN and Resveratrol from Donotage, which is a major UK brand, so that is fine. You can tell it's a quality product when it arrives. However, I also ordered NMN from some obscure US brand and I'm almost certain it was a forgery. There is also cheap resveratrol. I ordered Creatine gummies however, and they are fine I think. In short, if you get a quality brand, you'd be okay. Some obscure US brand, probably fake. -

Pain he can take away, ie extra cards. You don't believe that yourself. China is in deep trouble. Impossible, the EU can't absorb both Chinese overproduction and all other countries who export to the US. The fact is there are only two developed mega-markets, the US and Europe, and thus companies have to be in the US market. I disagree. I think it is fundamentally different to Brexit. The US is not the UK. In the long run the US can benefit greatly from the trade war, already companies are coming in to build factories, offering the US to buy more American products in an effort to avoid future tariffs. The US could very well come out of this trade war a winner. -
Is Trump the most corrupt US president in history?
Cameroni replied to spidermike007's topic in Political Soapbox
How can a man that is already worth 5100 million USD even be corrupt? That doesn't even make sense.
