Could you extend that to every topic on AN please? -
That is also how it is called. I order a pad krapow khai kai dow, since I don't fancy pad krapow moo What is Pad Kra Pao made of? Ingredients. The key components include basil, which is stir-fried with ground meat (commonly beef, chicken or pork), garlic, sugar and Thai chili. The dish is seasoned with a combination of soy sauce, oyster sauce and fish sauce. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phat_kaphrao

Amway is a US based company which exists for decades already. If you question is in regard to buying products from them, then there is no problem, if you consider selling it then read this link https://hackernoon.com/amway-pyramid-scheme-or-legitimate-business-opportunity Small anecdote. In my early life, I had a wholesale business in cleaning products. At one point I was delivering products to a school, and an Amway seller came to visit. He was presenting his all-purpose cleaner, which he said was biological, and you could even drink it, which he did there and then. All I can say is that I have never seen him again

It is a dish with less oil used, that is probably why most foreigners like it. It looks "clean". I like it also with a fried egg on top. As for the spicy, I can eat spicy even somtam upcountry, but there is spicy and spicy. I will for example never buy any of the ready made Thai foods in Big C xtra in Pattaya, as that is actually a bag of peppers with some rice, meat bones and offal, and vegetables added. It really requires some selection to find the restaurants that don't overdo on spicy, and in my opinion, that is to hide something

The law is not in force yet, and so far nobody actually knows what it exactly consists of, how it will be enforced, and how it will affect expats. Do we really need 5 threads a day from someone who has "the solution"?

I do all my searches in the web browser on my PC, much easier and many more details to see on a 55" screen than on a 7" screen. Like for example open a picture in a review in a separate tab, so you can magnify it. Trust me, you discover more details in a 55" picture. Then I add orders to the cart, and collect vouchers and place orders on the app.

Free Shipping on Lazada if you play stupid games...
BenStark replied to redwood1's topic in General Topics
Getting free shipping vouchers on Shopee every day, no need to play games. Just open the app, click on all vouchers, and select as many free shipping vouchers as you want. They have free shipping for extra shops and normal shops. Then, when you check out, you select the item and click on "Platform voucher select or enter code" at the bottom, and it takes you to all vouchers you have collected, and shows which ones are eligible and which not. BTW, on Lazada i also don't need to play games or give feedback to earn a free shipping voucher. I never give feedback unless it is negative lol? Open app, click on account, and there is a tab voucher channel where you collect free shipping vouchers for weeks ahead. Looks like cashback on Lazada is over, haven't seen a cashback voucher for more than a month, and the 12/12 vouchers they offer are also a joke with minimum purchase at 1000 bht etc. On shopee they are minimum purchase of 0 baht. Have all my 12/12 vouchers on Shopee already secured Been looking on Lazada for a WD Blue 1TB SSD, and they are ALL fake, unless you find one that cost triple the price from JIB or alike. 100 listings from the same seller under a different shop name, and buyers posting picture evidence of the fakes in the reviews, yet lazada does nothing. On Shopee at least I could find a few genuine sellers for WD blue and WD Black at reasonable prices. Easy to check when you see the reviews show a Synnex sticker, and some even post a picture of the serial, which you can check on the website. As said I went through 10 pages of listings on Lazada, and didn't find a single one that didn't have evidence in the reviews it was a fake. -

From your comment I can only assume that is a picture of yourself in your profile -
If you need alcohol at home to feel good, you should urgently see a doctor. I drink alcohol when I'm out and about, as it enhances sociability, but I don't see how that would be beneficial at home

178/187 day split to avoid tax resident status.

I think not, because my embassy sent an email that they for now have no idea, and are investigating how it will affect expats. Till now I haven't got a follow-up email -
178/187 day split to avoid tax resident status.

That brings up another question. In the early years I lived in Thailand, I kept my address on my property in my home country. I had a travel insurance, which had in the small details that is was only available for residents of my home country, and at one time I was refused a claim. When I inquired, I was told that since I didn't stay 180 days in my home country, I was not considered a resident any more. So someone who splits his time between 3 countries, 3 x 120 days, is in principle not a resident anywhere? -
Cinder blocks with fibreglass wool will do nothing for noise insulation, it's a waste of space and money. You should have done some reading on what materials are used for noise insulation, and then just put it behind a plasterboard wall. I believe ready made plasterboards with insulation attached are available

Why would someone who has previously claimed to have tens of millions baht already inside Thailand accounts, think we were talking about +50 million baht, have to transfer more money on which he has to pay tax? -
Every phone since the nineties has about every language that exist in the world, unless it is a stupid phone. And I wouldn't be too proud to post pictures if i owned such a slum.

And that is the main problem. CP now owns 7/11 - Makro - Lotusssssss - Lotusssss go fresh, as well as many of the main brands sold in those, so creating a monopoly. I don't know if you have noticed the significant price increases in makro, and the much lesser products available. During the covid period I discovered already that many third party products in Makro were cheaper than their equivalent of the own low grade Aro brand. Currently I see that many main products are cheaper at Big C than at Makro, and the selection of brands has decreased a lot. This should not be the case in a cash&carry, but too many people now only shop in a branch owned by CP, and don't see the difference in price in other stores

Chinese EV's set to disrupt Thai Automarket

If they are making so huge margins as you claim, then why aren't they profitable even with the subsidy? https://www.scmp.com/business/china-business/article/3237078/chinas-ev-war-only-strongest-will-survive-byd-xpengs-dominance-knock-out-15-pretenders-amid-supply Some even lose $35000 per car built https://www.nytimes.com/2023/10/05/business/nio-china-electric-vehicles.html -

So your US debit card shows the day it will expire, and not just month and year?
