  1. So your solar installation produces in a day enough kWh to charge your car and provide sufficient electricity for your house? That must be a million dollar installation. https://www.forbes.com/home-improvement/solar/how-much-power-does-a-solar-panel-produce/ On average, a standard residential solar panel with an output rating of around 250 to 400 watts. If your home has six hours of sunlight daily, you can expect to generate approximately 546 to 874 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity annually.
  2. I replied to a quote by you that you charge for free through your solar installation, while in fact that installation has cost you hundreds of thousands of baht. So how can that ever be free? That is your personality, unable to see real life facts, and making up things to justify your LAME points. Here is another one for you. I have a ICE powered truck, and it cost me exactly nothing in consumption or maintenace, because I push to and from the local 7/11. You think I made a fair statement?
  3. Not rattling my case at all. And what you mean with my personality? Is it that I saw through your lame arguments, and gave you some real life facts? Oh, still waiting for the info on who does free solar installations
  4. ONE real long distance trip a year will use up 5 hours of charging Well yeah, you could also say that your long distance trips are to the 7/11 around the corner, but limiting yourself to make a point is quite lame. You got free solar installed? Please provide a link to the company, everyone would like to have 100's of thousands baht in solar installation for free. So the fast charger is faster than filling up the tank of an ICE. There are no hotels with FREE charging, it is included in the price of the room. So, and on the way home another time waste of charging
  5. you're wrong again, but I'm not gonna start a discussion with you, because you are renowned for always claiming to know everything better. Maybe you are Liverpool Lou's brother? The name on the building license, blueprints done by the Orbotor, and building contracts determines the ownership of the building. That the the landowner had to give permission at the orbotor that I could get a building license in my name on her land, is confirmation that she agrees with it. I never said that the mortgage had anything to do with ownership, maybe learn to read, but the land can not be sold as long as the mortgage hasn't been fully paid. https://www.thailandlawonline.com/thai-real-estate-law/ownership-and-buying-real-estate-in-thailand#4 Foreign house ownership separate from the land Ownership of a house in Thailand can be transferred separate from the land it stands on. Land and house could have different owners and in a long term lease construction it strongly advised to follow the correct procedure to obtain legal ownership of the house. Transfer of a structure separate from the land must be in writing and registered with the competent authority (i.e. the Land Department's branch or provincial office). The right to own a building upon another man's land always relates to the term an right to use and possess the land (i.e the term of the land lease and/ or the right of superficies term). https://www.thaiembassy.com/property/buying-property-in-thailand It is a commonly unknown fact that although a foreigner cannot own land in Thailand, he can own the house or structure built thereon. One only has to apply for a construction permit to build the house in his own name.
  6. Wrong. I own my house, built on land owned by a Thai national. Building license and everything in my personal name, for which the landowner had to give permission. On the land is a mortgage, provided by me, which is registered at the land department, and written on the back of the title deed. If the land ever needs to be sold, which only can be done after the mortgage has been paid to me, the sale has to be announced for 2 weeks at the Orbotor, to ensure that the house is free of any debts. That said, the building is not specified on the chanote, and as far as I'm aware never is.
  7. This play of words should be avoided whenever mentioning this traitor
  8. This is my experience 2 weeks ago. I was in Europe and my Thai SIM didn't connect to the network, probably because I hadn't enabled roaming. I booked flight upgrade online using my Kasikorn debit card. Was asked for the OTP, which I of course didn't receive. I ticked resend twice, but obviously still didn't receive one. I then clicked cancel, and the transaction was approved instantly. ????
  9. Is it imported from Japan?
  10. It does not have your name on the bill, it only has your name as the account holder who paid your wife's bill.
  11. Sure, only makes me wonder why it leaked previously. I actually have the impression that it stopped leaking from the moment I topped up the oil reservoir a few weeks ago
  12. Still some issues because unable to get to the Wise login page. Maybe issue at Wise end? Edit; Hmm looks like a problem with the crap FF browser because loads instantly in Chrome. Time to dumb that FF crap
  13. Fayed was married from 1954 to 1956 to Samira Khashoggi. He worked with his wife's brother, Saudi Arabian arms dealer and businessman Adnan Khashoggi, uncle of the murdered dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi.[7] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohamed_Al-Fayed#References
  14. Sounds as if AN members are more desperate for internet than the young Thais
  15. Which surprises me, since most Thai government agencies, including NBTC themselves, use servers outside Thailand ????
  16. 3 days and 100km later, not a single drop on my carton
  17. I doubt an agent can get you a retirement visa if you're not 50 yet
  18. Voted by themselves I assume haha
  19. Why should I do in 75 days, when it is a 90 days notification? More important, would there be an issue if I do the online report on the previous set date, as to not create more confusion in the system?
  20. Since this is posted in the Pattaya forum, that would be a fair assumption yes. That was also my guess, but a rest area must have an exit at the end, and as far as I can notice, there is no provision for that I live near there, so pass at least twice every day, and never seen such a sign.
  21. I recently returned from Europe. Since I do my TM47 notifications online, today I received the email that my appointment is due. I understand that the 90 days reset on the date of return, and since that was only a week ago, the automated system is probably not aware of it. So should I ignore the email and just count 90 days from the day of arrival, or can I do the notification anyway on the previous due date? Since I do them online anyway, it's not an inconvenience as it takes only a few minutes, but I want to avoid confusing the system.
  22. I had hard-coated Hoya progressive lenses made 2 weeks ago at First optic in Pattaya, at the price of 4400 baht, that is about the same price as no brand name Chinese lenses. That of course included the eye test, measuring and fitting, Been a customer of First Optic for at least 10 years, and if something is wrong I have a place to go back to.
  23. If you take the tollway direction Bangkok, a few hundred meters before the exit Banglamung / Rayong, they are building some big complex for at least 6 months now. One of the latest additions is a steel framework, which looks as if it could be used for the prices at a gas station, though I can see what could function as an entrance, but i don't see an option for an exit, so doubt it will be a gas station. Anyone has knowledge about what they are building there?
  24. I reported it as well, and it seems they now have taken action. Price is for aftermarket rack including labour
