  1. "And I will go out on a limb here. I doubt very few, if any posters on this thread will have a tax bill anywhere near Baht 1 million."
  2. Can't see why you say that, 1 million is the IT for a 4 million income (approximately), which concerns a population of 5% to 10% of the expats here (probably the least vocal group, for good reasons), so thousands or tens of thousands potentially. Now I don't put the LTR visa into the picture, which I have BTW, as many questions regarding the application of it's associated tax exemption remain.
  3. Will be more like a 1 Million for some, though... I m somewhat underprivileged, so I could face a bill of 800000+.
  4. This will never work with Putin, who is having a laugh when facing weak and disjointed adversaries such as the EU and US. What is needed right now is a a 2% or 3% war sales tax across the EU. These populations must contribute heavily to the war effort, otherwise they'll have nothing to complain about what is going to happen.
  5. Any tourists left in this marvellous city? Stayed there in 1986....
  6. Yet another propeller head...
  7. For some reason your stupid post made me laugh... "mental illness"...
  8. You are right, but 2/3 Million allow only for one major incident. Not only operations can claim Millions, extended stays in ICU will wipe out one's finances in a matter of weeks. My daughter needed growth hormone, we treated her with Humatrope at a cost of 100000 Euros (4M Baht), all paid by the insurance I have taken with me to Thailand.
  9. Obviously US needs more guns to get to the level of the European countries.
  10. Speaking generally the issue with Trumpists is size more than potency. But anyway they display all the features of lousy lovers.
  11. No need for that, just get her to make a deposition under oath, if she commits perjury she's in trouble. But I doubt this would be the case here as we have rapists at the highest level of government now.
  12. Since you haven't used the word "Love" I dare say you don't qualify for anything better than "Short Time".
  13. Well someone s to my post asserting it was a place for Issan families. I must admit he was right. Soi 6 alone supports a whole district. As well as all the medical staff treating HIV and other STDs.
  14. Why do you need "performance", are you racing? or just worried to get late to the office.
  15. He thinks EVs are powered by Lead/Acid batteries.
  16. Near certainty during the first year following the treatment. Prostatectomy should only be offered to patients with more than 15 years of life expectancy. And then it has become even more questionable with the advent of SBRT.
  17. Didn't find any bacon for breakfast, that's true. But had amazing seafood dinner served with a wide choice of tax free wines . The scenery is amazing and you can swim in the sea. Hotels are cheaper than in Thailand now. BTW there seems to be a nice community of western retirees there too. I am not interested be some here might appreciate.
  18. Forget the Pattaya sewer, go to Langkawi.
  19. I think it matches largely the toxicity of the chosen treatments.
  20. "Results showed that after five years, 279 of the men (13% of the entire group) had regrets about what they had chosen. The surgically-treated men were most likely to voice unhappiness with their decision; 183 of them (13%) felt they would have been better off with a different approach. By contrast, regrets were expressed by 76 (11%) of the radiation-treated men and 20 (7%) of men who chose active surveillance. Men in the low-to intermediate-risk categories were more likely to regret having chosen immediate treatment with surgery or radiation instead of active surveillance. The men with high-risk cancer, however, did not regret being treated immediately."
  21. I'd second that. For localised PCA the "Regret rate" for those who have chosen surgery or radiotherapy is twice as high as for those who elect active surveillance. The gain in life expectancy of prostatectomy patients is about 3 months. I am now in the 7th year of active surveillance.
  22. When it comes to policies I can pick my preferences from either side. But when I see a bunch of idiots and a madman, who dreams of a eugenist colony on Mars, leading a superpower I am worried.
