Why Men Are Rejecting Marriage
Nail on the head hit - exactly correct. I reckon Shapiro said it best - Facts do not care about your Feelings.

The battery is what burns - spontaneous combustion - runaway thermal reaction. Up to you - put it under your bed for all I care.

My bad - did some checking and they are there - could not find them when last buying. Most of the websites not great - unlike BMW and Toyota - clearly only thinking about Thai buyers. But there are some good places, and it has shown me where there are dealers that are linked with the manufacturer. They are not 'official' dealers as such, but they are under the manufacturers umbrella. And yes they all offered finance for the newer used cars. Good to know - next year we are looking for a newer used car. Back in Aust when a car is 3-5 years you could take it back to the dealer and get a decent trade on a new model, or a newer used one. Thanks.

Drunk Crashes Into Motorcycle, Killing Two 14-Year-Old Girls in Tragic Wrong-Way Collision
I'll be blunt and 'not nice', and say it. Yes it is not an exaggeration and that is why I usually avoid other Expats. In my experience, most of those I have got to know, I did not want to know. and I dont know now. But it depends on where they are a lot, in terms of what sort of nutter they are. Many of those that live/reside in the tourism/bar-girl areas, are very strange and/or 'damaged'. Many of those that reside in the bush/remote areas, are lunatics that have 'gone feral' (some even think they are 'Thai').

Good point - some do have that option available - but not 'directly' as such - meaning not signed 'in house'. But those that do, can organise for a rep from a finance company to get involved. Very few 'non-franchised' used car dealers in Thailand. Only Toyota and BMW do that here, that I am aware of. And even then, the Toyota Sure places also sell other brands. It always makes me wonder why in Thailand, the 'dealers' only sell brand new cars of that brand. Where do the 'demos' get sold here? Why dont they sell traded-in models that are only a few years old? When reflecting on that and other idiosyncrasies here, I wonder why are 80% of the dealer used cars advertised online here, those that are for sale in Bangkok?

Just make sure you 'park' it well away from the house 😉

I agree - they are like the Japanese cars were like in the early 60s - cheap but not so good. But like the Japanese, they will get better and will probably dominate sales of EVs - when the time is right for EVs.

Why Men Are Rejecting Marriage
Yes indeed - and the silly fools fall for it every time. I recall the guns and abortions debate. We must allow abortions to be legal or they will be done illegally and bad things will happen. and then...... We must make guns illegal and that will stop bad thing happening. If they had enough sense to see the hypocrisy in their own views, they would be mature adults and vote for Trump.

No they dont (have more brains than this). They believe any MSM lies/distortion about Trump - because they need to hate him. I read somewhere that many of them have 'Daddy Issues'.

Thai man distributes explicit videos of ex-girlfriend after contracting STD
Yes I am serious - you assume she did not know - but what if she did know? Either way, they were in a relationship and she 'did the dirty' and gave him a terrible disease. In a legal sense - if you kill someone doing something 'wrong' they call that manslaughter. Likewise. ignorance of the Law is not an excuse to break a Law. Yes he was out of order, but 5 years in jail - on top of a STD that will affect his life going forward. Are you serious?? PS - the thing to do is to get an anonymous account that cannot be traced to yourself and download it using another device that also cannot be traced to you (internet cafe etc.). Before that, take everything off your phone/laptop that you need and lose it in a lake - and tell everyone for a few days that your phone was stolen - then download the stuff.

Says something IMO. She can get and give him an awful disease without telling him she had it, and there is no charge/offence? Posting pictures of her is definitely out of order, but 5 years in jail??

Supercar convoy causes major delays on M6 motorway (video)
Mate - you need to rethink that analogy. If you drive at 60KPH you will do 60Kms in one hour - therefore 1Km in 1 minute. However, you are IMO 'almost correct'. The real reason feet, yards etc are still used a lot is because the height of a human being is very easily estimated when measuring them in feet - I mean how tall is someone that is 1.67 metres high? Likewise, the world professional golf tournaments are all played in yards - and as a player I find it easier to estimate a distance in yards than in metres. But overall the metric system leaves the imperial for dead - especially when it comes to weight and volume.

Spreaders of Conspiracy Theories: Unmasking the Motivations Behind the Lies
I think you are the type of person that Trump loves. Why smart people are more likely to believe fake news | Books | The Guardian Why Smart People Believe Stupid Things - YouTube Intelligence doesn’t make you immune to conspiracy theories – it’s more about thinking style (theconversation.com) Quote from the Guardian - "A firmer grounding in sceptical reasoning could help everyone – whatever their IQ – to use their intelligence to make wiser judgments." These days kids are not so much 'educated' as they are 'indoctrinated' to believe whatever the teachers are saying is important. By the time they get to Uni it is too late - it needs to be done in the junior schools. Can you imagine that Uni under-grads who are gay, were marching to support the fanatical Islamists in Gaza who would kill them if they dared entered their part of Gaza and behaved that way.

Spreaders of Conspiracy Theories: Unmasking the Motivations Behind the Lies
Nail on the head right there - until they could no longer deny, they maintained their 'conspiracy' to cover up Biden's dementia. I wonder how long they will continue their conspiracy to cover up Harris' complete lack of ability or intelligence.

Is Thailand Value for money
You are only as old as the woman you are feeling - right? Yes - there is value here if you are adaptable - demanding what is 'back home' and cheaper, is folly.
