Trade wars happen. Like any wars, much easier to start than to end. But this is what the American people narrowly voted for. They certainly didn't vote for invading Panama and Greenland but they did vote for Trump's cockamamie tariffs.

Absolutely. He's degrading the USA brand bigly and with two terms, the damage is going be super hard to repair later. You know, a key part of Putin's anti-western propaganda for many years has been, yeah we suck, but America sucks as bad as we do, so you have no grounds to criticize us. Tragically it's hard not to acknowledge that Trump is proving him right.

Trump realizes almost nothing about anything. He's great at marketing. He's garbage at governing. His attention span is about the last guy he talked to and now all those guys are loyalist often oligarchs. Fasten your seatbelts.

Well, he has announced that he actually WILL impose a 25 percent tariff on the U.S. closest neighbors -- Canada and Mexico. Tentative date -- February 1. Interesting that 25 percent sounds somewhat moderated from previous threats but 25 percent is 25 percent and not chopped liver. I bet the avocado toast generations are gonna love the prices increase.

It sends the message that he will rule as an authoritarian strong man in as much of a dictatorial manner as he can get away with. Consider his awesome power today. He can now order murders of opponents telling the hit men he will pardon them, and be fully immune from prosecution himself for the murder orders (thanks to SCOTUS which he owns) as long as the orders are done as part of his presidential actions. FACT.

Yeah. Atrocious. But apparently to the maga fascists, it's heaven. 'I'm in hell': Rolling Stone reporter unloads after being forced to cover Trump rally A magazine reporter assigned to cover Donald Trump's pre-inauguration "victory rally" had an intrusive thought that plagued him throughout the event. Asawin Suebsaeng, a senior political reporter for Rolling Stone, attended the twice-impeached convicted felon president's rally Sunday at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., and he found that he kept involuntarily scribbling “this is hell, we live in hell, I’m in Hell”over and over. "The jubilant Village People aside, this is a scenario that we were raised and taught in our schools to believe was not practically or legally possible in our time," Suebsaeng wrote. "This is, we were assured at school, something that occurs in Europe, especially in bygone decades of empire, world wars, and global cold war. Maybe it’s something that unfolds during the democratic backsliding of Latin American nations, particularly the poorer ones. The Middle East. The Philippines. Other places we can’t locate on a map without cheating or a hint, and in countries and regions we can barely deign to pronounce correctly."

Vladimir thanks you for regurgitating Kremlin propaganda.

The misogyny, racism, and homophobia from some of the presumably pro maga snipers here is so very predictable. I get it. With the installation of the man many call DADDY, who is now going to SPANK people as Putin puppet Tucker Carlson crowed, who is actually called Donald Trump, pro maga people feel empowered to voice every kind of bigotry imaginable.

Stop lying. I think the last and probably only time I commented on M's dressing style when she wore that also BIZARRE message jacket and at the time it was the talk of the internet that everyone was talking about. I realize you love to insult but at least try be accurate about it, Kay? Jacket said -- I really don't care, do u? Travelling to see victims of a disaster. Weird then. Still weird. Will always be weird.
