Good news so far about NATO. Ukraine will not promise to never join NATO. That list is not as bad as I had expected from Ukraine's POV but there is no good reason to be optimistic. What Trump should have done is push Russia into a much weaker position long ago with aggressive secondary sanctions and military aid to Ukraine. Yes Russia's economy is on the ropes, but it's not on the ropes enough to force them into a deal Ukraine can live with. Hard to predict but this kind of smells as a setup to shift the blame to Ukraine. Russia "agreed" to this and that (you can't trust what they say) and Ukraine wouldn't move enough. Trump is Putin's poodle until fully proven that he isn't.

I don't recall even one report about that on this forum. As I said before though, by participating in torrenting you know what, users especially without VPNs, are exposing themselves to POTENTIAL future issues. We're adults here. People can make their own risk decisions on this issue like everything else.

In the US massive financial fines.

The vast majority of expat torrenting is of copyrighted content. So using a VPN shields your identity if the Thai government, Thai ISPs, or the content owners ever decide to go after violators as happens aggressively in the US etc. I'm not saying they do or will but they could.

As far as pricing, obviously the restaurant must pay a large cut to Grab. So restaurants often charge 30 percent more. But not always. Also if you're on a Grab plan you can get as much as 80 baht off orders with the code -- EXPAT20. One time a day. Plus discounted or free delivery. Some restaurants have their own promotion codes as much as 130 off. Overall I think it's a great value. A win win for consumer and Grab. Not so sure about the restaurants.

I like to choose Pay Cash for Grab food orders and then pay by scan transfer from a Thai bank account when they arrive. You can add a tip on the total there as well. If you don't have a non-cash way to pay be sure to message the driver to ask if she can make change for the bills that you have to pay. If you don't do that, there is a good chance they won't be able to make change.
