  1. That's surprising. My crust with no special request was definitely not thin and crispy. Maybe it depends on which specific pizza you order and or the chef du jour. I had the spicy salami. I will mention that I had tried their pizza multiple times years ago after they first opened. I eventually decided that I didn't like their pizza very much. But my recent Frankie's pizza seemed better than back then So not sure what to expect from them.
  2. Since Pizza Art closed I really don't have a local pizza that does it all for me. But for the moment I'm into Frankies because of the crust style. Its been awhile but I recall La Boca's crust is thin and crisp. Not my favorite style but many people like it.
  3. I like the calzone at Marcos better than their pizza.
  4. I know we have many Vietnam vets who are expats in Thailand so for them and others that missed this Brian de Palma movie back in 1989, there is Casualties of War. I'm not a vet but it brought back some flashbacks to that era. For me the biggest problem was Michael J Fox as the lead. I know him from other roles so had a hard time believing him as that character. https://www.rollingstone.com/movies/movie-reviews/casualties-of-war-93683/
  5. So you want them to grossly overcharge all f-rangs for Covid care or only this Israeli?
  6. And he makes a perfect scapegoat for Omicron starting to locally spread in Thailand. News flash: it already was before he arrived. It's literally impossible to stop this variant from spreading rapidly.
  7. What time did you arrive? Is it really necessary to arrive early in the morning? Were you processed at all upon entry? I'm concerned about arriving if they don't process upon entry, waiting for hours, and then them running out of stock.
  8. No you won't. Bragging about jumping the queue because of connections. That comes off as very unethical.
  9. Some of my best friends are ... Think what you want. You asserted something that you couldn't prove. Having good high level diplomatic relations is not the same thing as having the power to demand and get special treatment for every Israeli in trouble in Thailand. To add many self described "friends" of Israel also happen to be the same people broadcasting tropes. There is a most famous one like that recently in the news who I won't mention.
  10. Israel is the one Jewish state in the world. I'm sure you weren't referring to Palestinian Israelis having special power in Thailand. Your claimed intentions are irrelevant. Promoting tropes is not good.
  11. Here is my prediction. This tourist will be deported and blacklisted. Most likely he won't be imprisoned. It would be bad PR for Thailand to lock up tourists based on health violations. Nothing at all with him being Israeli or conspiracy theories about magical Israeli Jewish power in Thailand.
  12. So much interest in this misbehaving Israelite. I can't help wondering if the interest would be as keen if he was . . . .Swiss.
  13. Sure thing. Its not as if you actually have any evidence that Israeli Jews usually get special treatment here.
  14. Why would you assume its political? False positives and negatives aren't exactly super rare.
