Seeking guidance on this, as I think also that a conviction was needed, as in the 2 previous expulsions for crimes. Yes 3 were expelled for disloyalty to the union 170 years ago. He has been expelled after an investigation by the Ethics Committee of the House of Representatives. The motion to expel was supported by almost 50 % of his own party, who voted to expel, and he was only saved on previous vote by the opposition voting against the motion. As the evidence was contained in an Ethics Committee report, was the motion in line with normal house rules? Was the committee report deemed to be a convictions (against house rules)? 1. If you do not renew before applying for extension then new extension will only be to October 2024. Best to apply for new passport before extension. 2. No problems, just transfer details into new passport at immigration at some point, or can travel with both passports. Remember to update everything else linked to passport, driving licence, bank,etc.

I used my eyes and ears, everyone were being given tickets to counter 1, 30 days extension. I was at counter 2, re entry, so could observe how many are waiting and went to the counter. So if you do not like my observation, maybe I take a clip board and do a full survey next time, would that make you more happy. Trying to be helpful on this forum seems pointless at times. I got my ticket from one of the females, and both the 2 females and the male were being helpful and friendly, Then I have never experience a problem at immigration, maybe that is just my personality.

Can understand your frustration, but the car has never been yours, legally. If you pay to get the blue book back, it is still not in your name and not your car, legally. Hence nothing to stop it happening again or she comes back for her car (assume blue book in her name) and she no longer has any debt. Sorry write it off, move on and learn.

Agree it is not an issue for the embassy, or which agency they get to renew passports. But Uk citizens do not have a statutory right to a passport, since 2013. Was there yesterday afternoon, and everyone in front of me seemed to be getting 30 days extension, never saw anyone turned away or any checks of how many days left. Maybe everyone had only 3 days left, but it did not seem like that. 30 days extensions were busy, but the process was moving fairly quickly. Do not doubt the poster who was told to come back later, but maybe just lucky to catch staff at a bad moment or had upset them.
