Passport expiry
Robert Paulson replied to graeme72's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I thought Thailand didn’t care about the 6 month thing. I got denied exit at a border once for not having 6 months but I remember the thai immigration telling me it would have been no problem coming back into Thailand without the 6 months -
Mass arrests made as US campus protests over Gaza spread
Robert Paulson replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I’ve always said, we can protest… unless it’s actually working, then it’s illegal. So… as you allude to, it must be working. Otherwise they wouldn’t care. -

You know it’s bad when you have all the money, all the power, all the media, all the politicians in your pocket, and you still can’t convince people you’re on the right side of things. When this started Israel swore they didn’t bomb that initial hospital, they claimed Hamas did it. Now they just bomb hospitals at will. And still, some people can’t see through the lies and they move the goalposts. The most hilarious part to me is Zionists are the most well funded educated people there are and yet when they mount a comeback the best they can come up with is “anti semite” and “racist bigot”. The same unsophisticated argument over and over. -
It’s funny reading these posts because you’re confirming my point: that people are mindless, selfish cucks who don’t give a damn about anyone else’s stuff but their own. Otherwise why would putting something delicate up there be such a danger? And yes! I agree with you. People are mindless cucks further, I really don’t understand where people get these myths about things like “space” under the seat in front of you. Maybe a 4 year old girl has a little space under the seat in front of them. Grown men don’t.

You thought wrong. You can put whatever you want in an overhead. You probably boarded late to not get any overhead. That’s a you problem

Chonburi Immigration Office Announces Holiday Closures in May
Robert Paulson replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
I need to travel by car and I hate traveling on holidays… as in the days people actually get off work, and I’m telling you it’s impossible to find this info, maybe it’s just me idk. Because the holiday calendar does not line up with the actual holidays. Maybe everyone gets a different day off in different regions? -

Foreigner Breaks Police Lock on Illegally Parked Bike in Phuket
Robert Paulson replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
The chain is obviously just another shakedown method. Explain to me how it’s even possible to get a parking ticket in a country where ON A HIGHWAY it can be LEGAL or at least quasi legal to stop/park in the left lane. on a completely unrelated note I find Thai drivers to be the worst in the world at understanding the rear end of their vehicle is hanging out when they are making a left turn or stopping. It’s uncanny how stupid they are. So many times they can simply pullover a little more and they don’t… they just block the traffic behind them for no reason forcing people to stop or dangerously merge -

You’re lucky if you ever get it back. I have “refunds” on lazada I still can’t get to. It’s all a designed plan to keep your money. They never give you your money back in asia. Once they have it they refuse to relinquish it -
Bangkok Revamps Sidewalk Standards for Better Pedestrian Access
Robert Paulson replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
It’s called a side “walk” but the motorcycles will probably not agree with that nomenclature -
I actually don’t have a problem with people using hard shell. To me it seems like luggage that should have been checked, because why wouldn’t it? It’s indestructible. But since the answer is probably “I already checked my maximum luggage” I’d say you need to handle other people’s carryon accordingly. There are plenty of real life examples of similar scenarios we deal with everyday but people like you I suppose are too dense to realize it.

People should really look up their actual percentage chance of death occurring when cops show up on scene. Seriously. Do it. I’m not talking about local Thai or isaan cops here by the way but cops in general
-
I don’t call cops. Universal rule in every country. There are no exceptions. Even if a literal axe murderer shows up, it’s better without cops. Cops will just endanger everyone or more likely run away if things get serious.

You just posted exactly what I said. Good job for confirming my statements. People carry personal items onto planes; it goes without saying they should be handled with care by other passengers. Like I said to the other guy, if this is ok with you I’ll just put bumper on my car and smash into your car as I parallel park, having no regard for anyone else’s property but my own. That would make perfect sense in your world, right? Since your car is protected all is fair game. Joke. There are other humans on this earth, not just you. Learn to deal with this fact properly

Chonburi Immigration Office Announces Holiday Closures in May
Robert Paulson replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Does anyone know how to find actual, official holidays. Before you say google I find it’s wrong many times. I’d also like to know how to find out when the toll roads are free as that is indicative of a holiday more than the calendars you will find online, which are often completely wrong. -
Basically his position would be like if I got a rear and front bumper on my car and as I parallel park I can bump the cars in front and behind because I am protected. If they don’t like it they can get protection too! What a joke. The people with these hard shell cases need to at the very least store them up top delicately. There are other peoples delicate items up there, that is the entire point of carryon.

You can look right in the airplane guidelines. Carryon is for things like purses backpacks laptop cases etc. so no… the people doing the jamming and acting like everyone else’s stuff is indestructible are the problem, not me.
