  1. For gods sake, don't kill it or half of the people on here, who are do gooders, will git upset. You are going unbalance the ecology of the area. Just move it to an open field somewhere.whistling.gif

    Then stamp on it. w00t.gif

Or step on it....or put a stamp on it? I'm irritated.....

Why would you want to put a stamp on it? you wouldn't be sending it anyehere.

  2. In which ASEAN country can you buy any land where you want to? According to my knowledge everyone of these countries have some or other limitation on foreign land ownership.

You as a foreigner can buy land in Thailand, any land that a Thai can buy - ie, not national park land or beaches. Up to one rai.

You just have to invest 40m.

40 million is what I was going to post. I seem to remember reading that somewhere, some time back.

  3. Anyone recognise her...err...more intimately ?

Now that is one scary looking dragon lady, She probably jimmied the door lock with one of her dragon stars or blew a hole in the side of the tuktuk wth fireballs from her smouldering eyes

You BIB are just too simple witted to make an effective lockup of just one girl. How did you manage to get five men into one cell without losing them too?

Perhaps she had more to offer? .... Would frighten the shit out of me though.

  4. To me what separates the greats from the many is the ability to both rock and play acoustic, to cross all the emotions.Led Zep could do that.

That is probably what made them so great, the balance between soft and hard. A lot of what was called "heavy metal" after them was garbage IMO.
Absolutely, you've got to be really able to play the guitar, Neil Young ,Pete Townsend, Dave Gilmour, Rory Gallagher, Jerry Garcia, Hendrix, etc, can/ could play both acoustic and electric.

Back to Jimmy Page, how about George, Thai Visa owner, inviting Jimmy to one of the Thai Visa get togethers, free booze for the long time regulars and music fans?

Naturally all trolls from the General Forum would be banned at the gate.

Cut my R&R teeth listening to Dave Gilmour in Cambridge in the mid 60s early 70s. Also fortunate enough to have seen Neal Young with Crazy Horse a couple of times.

  5. IMO, after The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, probably the best rock band ever. thumbsup.gif

Umm .. and what about Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band???

The Who,,,,,, Cream,,,,, Joe Cocker & the Grease Band. And really the list just goes on.

  6. We were at an immigration office in Chonburi the other week. We saw two Asian guy's at the back of a Porta cabin with a guy wearing an

immigration uniform. He was taking their passports from them.

Corruption at all levels. The sad thing is without it most of our lifestyles would change dramatically. A lot of people are complaining about the cost of living now. Just imagine what it would be if everyone earned a fair wage.

There's something corrupt about an immigration officer handling a foreigners passport?

Behind a porta cabin as opposed to inside it. What do you think?

Sent from my GT-I8160 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

  7. Why are the police responsible for immigration? Take this job away from them now. Employ personnel that are fully conversant with the rules (such as they are) and pay them salaries that are decent enough to attract qualified and conscientious folk.

In terms of national security, this is an important task. The whole culture of the RPT is the antithesis of an organization required for such a role.

  8. Puckering is the worst form of greeting besides handshakes, best way for bacteria to travel. Most

Asians got it right, no bodily

    contact.

I like a small wave, if not that, a

nod. No need to stick your tongue

    down some hairy fellows gullet.

    Not a wai ?.

  9. When we are in Thailand, my wife forbids public displays of affection like kissing. Not the

    Thai way, she says.

When she first moved here (Greece)

    where as Kostas says, greeting

people (even if it's two men

greeting each other) with a kiss on the cheek or two (three if you are

close) is the norm, she had a bit of a culture shock! However, now

she is quite used to it, and sees

    nothing strange in it.

But it is still NOT something to be done in Thailand!

    When in Athens. Lol

  10. I did a similar thing last week fo G/F daughter on internal flight, booking on line. Whilst filling in booking form the question came up pasanger name, as it was different than name on the credit card I had give my phone number. I was sent a number by sms, which we had to send to her for her to show when checking in.

This must be something that comes up regularly. I am sure that airlines don.t want to turn business away?
