  1. Another form of silent sabotage by CCP in UK: Circulation of Fake Postal Stamps. Surprisingly, it was openly sold online. Fake UK stamps blamed on Chinese-made counterfeits Royal Mail urged to investigate claims of Chinese-made fake stamps | Postal service | The Guardian
  2. Looks like they are now Strangled with the Diversity they promoted. Perfect example of: Lending the eaves, and losing the main house..
  3. Hi, I checked Daily Average Road Deaths in Thailand. What I found: 50. 50x7=350/week. And this year's Songkran Road Deaths: 138 for 4 days(18% lesser than last year). Looks like improving. Bangkok Post - Songkran road accidents and injuries pass 1,000 Congratulation Thailand, fewer people died this year.
  4. China is technically Annexing Laotian land, in exchange with financial aid. They "borrow" the land of Lao for 50-75 years. And send in their migrants; eventually taking over its territory. A form of Population Invasion by their regime. Another method to Steal other country from within, other than their operation Debt Trap.
  5. Dark side of the festive season. Casuality numbers, a bit like Mini Civil War for a week.
  6. Settlers' willingness to integrate into the new home. Without it, Multiculturalism only makes a mess, creating divisions among the society. And eventually leads to the destruction of the host countries. While living as the expats/immigrants outside own home, the new comers should first learn how the locals act, before the locals learn how the foreigners act. Looks like Sweden ended up as the Unfortunate Case of the failed experiment.
  7. Good amount of rain in the middle of the Songkran, was it in 2013? I am in CNX, and it rained heavily on the 14th(before dawn and in the afternoon) this year. And it felt pretty cool both in the morning and in the afternoon. Also it was very cool yesterday, too. So I didn't use any A/C last night.
  8. Understood it is referring to the higher road accident risks just before and after the water festival. Thank you for your post.
  9. Retirement life in Thailand. Becoming a popular new trend among the first world, for the past decade. The biggest attractions of this kingdom: No severe winter, cost of living a lot lower than the expats' home countries, general friendlines to the strangers.
  10. No, honest simple question. I felt puzzled when the news text said first 4 days. Known Songkran is April 13-15, for 3 days while 16th is often part of the public holidays(when coincided with the weekend).
  11. The least hot Songkran ever experienced. Quite agree. Even though I have met a similar year sometime in the past.
  12. When they stop 60-day visa waiver stay? Absolutely no clear announcement from any sources. Even though they declared weeks ago. Bangkok Post - Visa-free stay in Thailand to be cut to 30 days Another example of Thai Bureaucracy: Saying, but not doing. So enjoy your continuous visa-free entry and 2 months stay Until they say something Definite...
  13. during the first four days (11–14 April) of the Songkran Do they include April 11-12 "Songkran"?
  14. Should rather to be put to death. So that vermin cannot harm anyone else in any future.
  15. an enraged crowd of over a hundred people drag the driver from the vehicle and beat him severely before police arrived. The driver’s motives remain unclear, but according to onlookers, he appeared to deliberately speed into the crowd. ---------------------------------------------------------------- The driver intentionally charged the car into the crowd? Looks like village justice served on the spot. Instant Karma.
  16. Trump doesn't seem to know 1/4 of the US bond held by other countries: Japan, China, UK, Luxemburg, and Cayman Islands. Whether they keep it or not, solely at their mercy. US of A is supposedly the world's "strongest" country. But its financial lifeline is technically in the hands of the people outside. If all of the major holders of the US Treasury, dumped it altogether, the result will be catastrophic. The worst case scenario hasn't yet to take place. Only while US is still "trusted" by the rest of the world. But the man in the White House today, doing his best to Undermine that Vital Factor.
  17. You look like missing something fundamental. In today's US(since 1980s), the economy doesn't function without capital flow from outside. US is so heavily into debt(both in govt and financial sector) that it is no longer capable of funding own country by itself. Despite of that fact, US of A could still go with that much debt. Simply because the free world trusted it(and lent their money to support US=buying US bond). But now, things changed almost overnight, due to DT's anti-free world move. Trump Doctrine: New isolationism. But in reality, USA can no longer live like that, unlike old time. Back Then(pre-WW2 period-1950-60s) when USA was quite Self-Sufficient; capable of funding own govt and the industries without foreign capitals. But not like that anymore, as stated earlier in this text. In other words, US(after 1980s) no longer has what They Used To Have in good old time. How can you expect to live like old days while not having what is essential for that? That's why I call Trump followers' "aspiration(of resuming domestic production of capital and consumer goods in US)" Empty Illusion. Trump himself undoubtfully knows that it is totally impossible; only quoting such a slogan as the meaning of psychological manipulation(taking advantage of people's ignorance) for own gain. If you study the history of own country a bit, you will easily understand though. Compare the present time, and period before 1970s. Homework for you.
  18. Inept businessman(whose companies busted half dozen times, or even more?). But as the Russ agent, doing the absolutely remarkable job. Causing this much cracks among the west in less than 3 months since he took office. Europe now sees US as the enemy. The US is now the enemy of the west Yes, America Is Europe’s Enemy Now Trump’s America is Putin’s ally now – POLITICO
  19. Trump sped it up dramatically LOL. In less than 100 days after he took office.
  20. Debt problem has been worsening since 1980s(especially by Reaganomics; encouragement of consumption on debt). But by now, other countries willingly bought US bond as the form of secure investment(as the USA was trusted). But now, they are changing their way to look at USA, due to Trump's hostile policies to the free world. No longer regarded as the leader of the free world. Pretty natural response, from anyone's standard. Return the hate to the hate. Just a matter of human nature. Whether at individual or state level.
  21. Looks 100% Self-Inflicted. From the leader of the free world, to the new enemy of the west.
  22. American grunts, might be fighting for the bald headed dictator in the future? With Trump, it makes a perfect sense, Lol. In Europe, they now even recognize the US of A, their new enemy siding with Russ. The US is now the enemy of the west Yes, America Is Europe’s Enemy Now Trump’s America is Putin’s ally now – POLITICO
  23. Trump followers simply look like playing with the illusion of the Golden Age past. Totally disregarding the reality(made by own country's manufactures after 1970s). Raising tariff won't bring their jobs and industrial capability back. Once upon a time(until 1950-60s), US was the only superpower(both in economy and military might) in the world. But time changed. After 1970s, their manufacturing industries accelerated their departure for the third world nations(for the lower wage=lower cost of production). By now, America has been so used to the consumption of the cheaper goods made outside of their country. And taking it for granted for decades. How can they believe they are able to turn their clock back, in the way they dream of, while those factories they used to have No Longer Exist on their own soil? Even if some might do so, the cost of resuming domestic production will be enormous. Cost of plant construction and the cost labor today, a lot more than old time. They will certainly be unable to make what the market wants at the price most people can easily afford. Matter of simple arithmetic. How can they expect to be able to buy the goods made in USA, cheaper than the ones made in the countries of a lower wage? Price of merchandise always comes with the cost of production. No exceptions wherever they are produced.
