It does matter when a financial service, handling your money, in recent times start to have more and more technical issues. Because one day it may be that they go tits up, or lose your money somewhere.

Yes that happened in Australia, and also in the UK, but it isn't the case in most other EU countries, where also everyone can buy land. It also seems to be the case in Canada.
