  1. Rutte added that the transatlantic bond could only be strengthened from the European end as European countries remain faithful and devoted vassals of the US. Rutte proclaimed that Donald Trump has led the effort to stop the erasure of European civilization and for this should be given the Peace prize. He went on to say how much he was hoping for a Christmas card and even a pat on the back from Trump. Approval from the US is so important for European leaders, Rutte said. It makes their day.
  2. Bull. Then that wouldn't just be a problem for shipments but for consumers in India too. Never heard of it and I travel on business to India frequently and source all my meds there. India has a pretty strong regulatory environment.
  3. There goes $ vs. ฿ again. Last couple of months the $ been dropping like a stone against the ฿. Lower interest rates in the US mean another downdraft. All meals to be bought at 7/11 henceforth.
  4. K2 usually goes with D3. Plenty on Lazada. This is the one I take.
  5. Because of the room or your companion? Motosais, plenty just outside NEP corner of Soi 4.
  6. Aw, come on. We're all adults here and no one knows who you are, you cheating little horndog. In any case, look up PB, Soi 3, and Aspira, Soi 7/1.
  7. UK, France and German combined active forces size is about Thailand's. Which means the fellow in the Kremlin who translated the US directive is laughing so hard his sides hurt.
  8. Google shows a Pathum Thani Town Municipality Off. I would start there. Trick is to proceed carefully, You wouldn't want to get marked as the Grinch who Stole our Fun.
  9. The little fella needs more money. The war stops then so does the gravy train. Olena's looking at Birkin fittings for their villa in Tuscany, an Olympic size pool for their Red Sea property and her mother's got an eye on a range of Louis Vuitton accessories. And then there's the two Lamborghini Revuelto's for the kids. US taxpayers need to understand that half a billion doesn't go as far as it used to. The little fella needs more.
  10. Lordie, so 100s of 1000s of civilians had to be killed because Japan didn't Setting aside the stupidity of this argument, by the same token the Brits should have handed over the double agents once they knew they were targeted for assassination by Russia. Still on a lighter note here's a hilarious video of how Ukrainians don't care to fight and die for the West. See particularly how the terrorist of a dog goes after the press gang:
  11. Same principle. The US is not NK. Once they are in you are not going to have a security detail following them around. High risk country, unable to vet, sorry pardner. It's the way things are. If I had to choose between a condo in Bkk full of Swedes and one full of Africans, guess where I would rent? For a few thousand baht more even. And I like to think I am not racist. But I am pragmatic.
  12. You are making this more emotionally charged than it is. I don't like Trump and I am not white, but all this ban is saying is that the countries are high risk plus we don't have the resources there to vet applicants, so none will be entertained. Fair enough.
  13. Well, yes. It's' the prerogative of the US if it will entertain immigration applications from country X. They are free to. In fact, to some extent most countries do rank foreigners on the basis of "desirability". E.g., for long Western citizens entered visa-free into Thailand while Africans, Indians, and others (till recently I believe) needed added paperwork. We're past that meta argument since the American Constitution became fait accompli 200+ years ago. Though I get your sentiment.
  14. Consumers have a choice. It's not that UPFs are being foisted on them or that they are being deceived into eating them. Ingredients/chemicals/nutritional values of all foodstuffs in the US are on the packing. Which means consumers have the ability to make an informed choice if they want to. If they still buy and ingest crap then that's on them, not Mars or Hershey, etc. So I doubt SF's case will fly. But it might be just for the publicity to make a point.
  15. Independent, sovereign nations don't have their cabinet chosen by an enormously fat woman from US State. Here's V. Nuland doing just that right after the CIA-organized coup in Kiev: Ever since Ukraine's been run by kleptocratic Nazi puppets and armed and funded solely to attack Russia. It's been a proxy war between the West and Russia since 2014, with everything from cash to to intel to weapons coming from the West. Ukraine? It's providing the corpses, 2 million of its men to date. Sovereign? My left buttock cheek. Independent? My right buttock cheek.
  16. Hmm, nonsense. Ukraine declared itself permanently neutral in its 1990 Declaration of Sovereignty (post-USSR), including the principle of not joining military alliances. This was enshrined in its 1996 Constitution. Then, in Dec. 2014 (post-coup) Ukraine's parliament voted to join Nato. This goal was further included in their Constitution in 2018.
  17. US/Nato: Our backsides are being hammered black and blue. Therefore, we demand you retreat, give up territory and agree to a ceasefire. And here's a list of more conditions you have to accept if you don't want us to surrender. Russia: Zis very convusing.
  18. Keep Kate. She so purty. Guillotine the rest.
  19. I have a theory about the crush of immigrants wanting into the US. Ironically, Trump himself might be the reason. I can picture (no disrespect) a Honduran family in a tiny house gathered around a 12" TV. The man Carlos says to his wife Maria: Querida, I watch American politics every day. You see that man with the orange skin and a comb-over. He will be president of the US. But he is, how you say, no muy inteligente. Sometimes I even think posiblemente un idiota. Maria: Carlos, you waste time following American politics. We have many problems. Money is short. Carlos: No, querida, you don't understand. Our young ones, little Jose and Paloma are smart. But here in Tegucigalpa they have little prospect. They go to school for what. There are no jobs here. But if we take them to the US where even an imbecil can become rich and famous, can you imagine what the future might hold for Jose and Paloma. We must go to this land of opportunity, mi amor.
  20. Ok, you are either 5 or 85.
  21. Hmm, I never saw anything like this on the channels I follow, Russian, Western, etc. So I asked AI: No, China has not seized Bolshoy Ussuriysky Island, but a territorial dispute reignited in 2023 when China's official map included the entire island as its territory . The island was officially divided between China and Russia in 2005, with the border finalized in 2008. While the current official border is recognized, the 2023 map has led to tensions and Russia has rejected the new claim. And Wikipedia has more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolshoy_Ussuriysky_Island#Border_agreements_between_China_and_Russia So a little spat between friends who share a 2000 mile border, soon settled. But trust the NY Times to grasp at neocon straws.
  22. Vy, vy you say zis? I am Amerikanski. Amerika zis my kuntry. But seriously, I hate bullies and I hate war-mongering neocons with a passion.
  23. If you had added "nyah, nyah" I would have exactly gauged your mental age. As it is I can only guess.
  24. Pay no heed to Western propaganda. They won't be able to create a breach between Russia-China. The only borders China is changing are the maritime ones in the South China Sea where its bullying little countries like the Philippines. Nothing's changed up north with Russia. Russia-China partnership is strategic. They know the western neocons have set sights on both of them. So they have each others backs. There'll be zero insurgency in the Donbas. It's mostly ethnic Russians who were the targets of the Azov Nazis since the coup. In fact, they were fighting Kiev in a civil war till Russia stepped in in 2022 on their side. In fact, they are already formally annexed by Russia and happy to be home. Incidentally, it's not impoverished. They have the most fertile soil in Europe and trillions in minerals underneath. Plus industry.
  25. Trump/Witkoff are trying to settle a war the US provoked. Couping off a legitimate government in Kiev, installing kleptocratic Nazis in their place who promptly started attacking ethnic Russians, creating dozens of CIA bases through the country and saying the next step was NATO membership for Ukraine was a stupid neocon idea. Obama was smart enough to understand this but too much of a wuss to say no. In any case, it's too late. Trump/Witkoff's best intentions will come to nothing. Russia will take this war to it's logical conclusion which is to make sure Ukraine is reduced to a neutered rump state which is zero threat to Russia. Expect all east of the Dniepr plus Odesa and a way to Transnistria to become part of Russia. It will take time. But Russia's in no rush. They don't do shock and awe or surge, followed but cut and run.
