  1. Sorry, Lewie. This one just didn't grab me like the previous ones. That said, it wasn't a 'bad' read. It just didn't have the intensity that your stories usually provide. Hey, even Lee Child wrote a bad one now and then! Please keep 'em coming! They are a fun way to start my day!
  2. Can you remember all the way back to yesterday? When you lied to us? I guess you just couldn't resist, could you? You said you would only post if I were here, yet, although I was not, here you are posting again in a thread you don't like, giving us another laugh. Perhaps we need to use a Fact-checker when you post, like we have to do with your cult leader when he speaks.
  3. They are as available to you as they are to me. Do you need to be spoon-fed?
  4. That didn't take long. 555!
  5. Could we measure how well he's doing by the bottom 30% of the people at the grocery store instead of the top 1% at the stock market? I don't think he's doing very well at all.
  6. My apologies. I honestly thought you could read.
  7. No links to any person. Let's go right to the source: https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/
  8. Isn't anyone at all concerned that Trump is violating the U.S. Constitution with all these sales: sneakers, bibles, cards, coins, etc., now perfume while in office? Or doesn't the Constitution mean much anymore, seeing as how he pays no attention to its laws when making his proclamations? And please... instead of a 'thumbs down,' how about actually voicing your reasons for not caring?
  9. Anyone remember driving over the 59th Street bridge in NYC, and smelling the fresh bread from the ‘Silvercup’ bread factory at the foot of the bridge in Queens?
  10. Especially the kind sold in pressurized cans! Or make it into Bread Pudding . Tasty and cheap, and another good way to reduce waste!
  11. Giving up eating bread and the other wheat products regularly has reduced joint information to the point where I now prefer the way my body feels without it. I do miss eating ‘good’ bread, but this old body moves better without it. The difference is day and night. Try it for a week and see if it makes a difference for you! Every few months I’ll treat myself to a ‘taste weekend,’ just for the flavors, but then right back to zero wheat products. P.S. A side effect of not eating bread is watching the kilos drop away from your belly and butt!
  12. A 'rash' is a symptom, not the root problem. This might sound heretical, but have you considered going to a clinic, having them take a sample, and testing it to find out what is causing the rash? Let them grow a culture in a Petri dish so you know which medicines will work. Sometimes, it's better to identify the problem before working to fix it.
  13. Do you even realize that you are right here answering his threads? Like, not in a different thread. His thread. You don't even have the willpower NOT to post in his threads! Man... you are so hooked! Hey, I'll see you tomorrow in Lewie's next thread... that you can't resist.
  14. With respect, you're correct... but not quite up on the data. Vapers (or whatever they are called,) have the option of choosing the nicotine levels they want. Those wishing to stop smoking start with high-dose cartridges, and over time progress to less and less nicotine, weaning the body from it, leaving only the 'smoking habit (hand to mouth, inhale, exhale)' to break. But I'm with you. I don't think it's an effective or efficient way to deal with breaking the smoking habit.
  15. We don’t even bother to make a special time/trip for the 90-day. We just stop by the drive-up window when passing by. Simply not a problem.
  16. It's possible he gets up just to troll you. He's very effective, isn't he? He catches you every single time! LOL!
  17. I hope this is being said tongue-in-cheek. Please excuse my ignorance, but what does having a wife have to do with the problem? Does having one put you in a different queue? Certainly hasn't for us. Or... are you assuming my wife is Thai? She is not. She has to present the same documents.
  18. LOL! This reminds me of the Republican senator who says there's no need to read 'the big beautiful bill' before signing it.
  19. Almost 25 years of doing visa extensions every year. It's just not a problem. It's a once-a-year project that takes my wife about an hour to check-assemble-doublecheck all our documents (She goes to Immigration two days before our visit to finalize exactly which documents we will need to bring this year...) so never a problem. We always make backup copies of each document. We've never been sent back to get more. One year, a 'volunteer checker' threw away several documents she said we didn't need. When we got to the Imm agent (back when you still faced them in Chiang Mai) he required them. Fortunately, we had made those extra copies of ALL our papers, so we just handed him those from the packet. Extension granted for another year. I will admit that dealing with Japanese immigration was a lot easier, and only needed to do it every 5 years.
  20. While illegal in Thailand, but legal in most other countries, many people have turned to vaping as a way to stop smoking cigarettes. Vaping IS safer than smoking cigarettes. But only if used short-term to help stop smoking. This does NOT mean vaping is safe. Medical science has proved this with repeated peer-reviewed scientific testing. Vaping can lead to a condition called 'Popcorn Lung,' and only takes a few years of vaping to create the problem. Use the vape to break cigarette addiction, but then wean yourself off the vape.
  21. The problem is not Thailand-specific. People will behave as they wish regardless of location.
  22. Thanks, Lewie, for another delightful romp through a Pattaya morning. This one had a bit of a kick to it, giving thought to how to deal with a pong problem and still maintain a pleasant social order. Nice one!
  23. Do you really think there are people so intellectually challenged that they can't figure this out for themselves? Oh... wait.
  24. Sometimes... not always, mind you, but sometimes... It's a good idea to actually READ what has been written previously before posting. Less chance of stating the obvious.
