  1. 2019 I got my visa in Jakarta, (not tourist). I thought it was easy, no hassles at all. If I remember it took one week.
  2. 1989 NSR 250
  3. Allied pilots over Britain did the same to V1's ( a drone of sorts). Who knows the Russians might have been practising for this. It sends a message to the Americans to stop poking them with a metaphorical stick. Some Russian fighters are known to fly slow enough to do a cobra manoeuvre so uncontrolled stalling is not an issue. Although I do suspect the drone pilot slowed down as a method of defense. Now known not to work.
  4. I was a Hasher before I came here. So it was easy for me to meet up with Hashers in BKK/Pattaya/Phuket/Chiang Mai. I have a good social life. But anyone can join in. If you have half a mind to do so.
  5. So you fix and fiddle with computers as a hobby. I see no problem with that in your own home. I like to fiddle with motorcycles. If I am fiddling one day and a mate rolls up with a noisy motorcycle, I will have a fiddle with that one. It only becomes a problem if you start fixing too many and there is a guy down the street earning his living from it and he finds out.
  6. Don't know. I've only seen pictures during training session of a guy's thigh with a large bit missing after he kept a source in his pocket. Not instant. If the missing source is still locked in its holder it is benign.
  7. Went to a small motorbike shop near me. Out the back he had a Wave frame with CBR front forks. He tried to tell me where they can do it for me but language was a problem???? . Nothing I cannot sort out.
  8. It is the triple clamp top that will cause the grief.
  9. Yes. It is likely an old source holder for a nuclear level measuring device for a coal silo.???? I have installed a couple in my time. In fact I can count the number on one hand. Not super dangerous but one wouldn't want to keep the source in your pocket.
  10. ...and the front forks. Maybe I can find someone local to do that. My front tire looks bigger than that. I'll bow up the image and see if the size is there. But maybe this has given me something to aim for. If someone else can do it so can I. I'll hawk the photo around town and see if anyone nods. Maybe it is simply Sonic forks?
  11. I think I got a bit greedy with my tyre choice on the farm track project bike so will be going down a size both ends. The front rubs on the fender under braking. So will put the front on the back and order a new front.
  12. Each to their own, but I am amazed that people order stuff from Lazada that they actually need. I've had an item cancelled by Lazada. I simply find the same thing on their site from another vendor. Sometimes cheaper.
  13. At 80 maybe he didn't want out???? A cot and 3 squares
  14. How much revenue was lost between On Nut and Bearing and who operates Bearing to Kheha that has been essential free for about 5 years?
  15. Many cars have the filler cap release inside the car. If having the engine running while refuelling is a problem then auto manufacturers would have an interlock so you cannot open the fuel filler if the engine is running. (in a similar way that a motorcycle will stop if you lower the sidestand) This is not implemented maybe because the vast majority of drivers in the world refuel their own vehicle, so they get out of the car and don't leave the engine running.
