I am thick so don't understand the question. All banking in Thailand is done in Baht. So whatever you do it will end up in Baht. Some will claim they have a US dollar account in a Thai bank, but may not have tried to transfer dollars out. They get immediately changed to Thai baht and then get transferred.

It happens a lot. Happened to a mate of mine recently. Go to the nearest police station and report the loss. (Procedural). They may not even be interested but it is procedural. Then upon return home go to your local DLT and apply for a new plate. Which will probably require an inspection at a vehicle inspection station as you are changing provinces.

Most visa fees and conditions between countries are reciprocal. So recent Thai increases are probably a tit-for-tat reaction. 🤔

I am still intrigued. Is the location of the proposed dedicated meter in a common area? Does the condo grant/allocate specific parking spots for residents? Does the electrical supply designated for the parking area have sufficient capacity for all resident's parking spots to have their own meter? Is the OP prepared to pay to have the service to the parking area upgraded as such? Or does he expect a special fee for the provision of such to be levied against residents with normal cars. Thousands of people in the world have no parking rights outside their own houses, how do they charge a rechargeable car? I suppose by owning a hybrid which it seems the OP already has. This is why not all cars can be wholly electric as proposed by some short-sighted governments who must pander to the short-sighted electorate. But that is probably a subject for a different thread. But I can't be arsed.

Dealing with Immigration here is the first time most posters on here have to deal with government offices. I doubt in their/our home countries they have to do so. I suspect the requirements in their/our countries' government offices are just as exacting.
