how does this affect the internet in Thailand as a whole? Do CAT control all the main lines going out of the country? Right now I seem to be able to browse just fine but several games I was attempting to update got cut off or are crawling along at 20kbps when they are usually around 1-2mbps....

Not sure the CPU power of a 20k PC could compare to the Xbox One. How does a PC graphic display on a 60" TV, the same ? I was already pretty impressed with the old xbox.

A bit more than that, mine I got last year was 35k, the same rig now would be much cheaper.

get a PC, seriously you might as well, I converted (back) to PC gaming a year ago and dont regret it at all, this current gen of consoles are so dull and not pushing the envelope at all, the PC I bought a YEAR ago is more powerful than the Xbone or PS4. There's barely any difference between them now apart from a few exclusives. These new consoles are always more expensive over here especially after launch so I wouldnt be surprised if its around the 20k region, you can get a pretty good PC rig thats just as powerful as them if not more for a little more than that.

how much is this in USD? My calculator wont go past nine zeros and I cant be bothered to think of another way to covert it

We went to the pharmacy approx. 5 days ago to get a test kit, the lady in the shop said its highly unlikely she's pregnant but should use the kit after the bleeding has stopped, my gf got impatient waiting and did a test about 4 days ago which came out negative.

We will get a HCG test done when we go to see the doc on Weds (not sure where we should go for this yet though)

Is that what it sounds like? I really have no idea myself and my googling hasn't come up with any good answers.

I read a bit about implantation bleeding when a women just got pregnant but that sounded like just brief bleeding and small amounts she's had this period 5-6 days now I can't for the life of me figure out how any one can bleed for that long but still be pregnant.

Her sister also said this can only be one of two things, either she's pregnant or she has something seriously wrong inside her, both are very frightening for us!

My gf had her period as normal until around the 20th of October. We had sex (unprotected) twice after that, the second time was around November 2nd and we had to stop as she had some slight bleeding (this has never happened before) then about 3 days later she started having a period. This was only around 16 days after her last one, she says she has never had it early before in her life (she is 25). She thinks she could be pregnant, I've been trying to find out info online but there seems to be very little out there apart from some other forums with lots of women and girls with similar stories who are asking for help and no one seems to give any answers and they never come back to the forums to tell people what happened. She still has her period now and says it's just like her normal one so far which usually lasts a week for her but she's also been feeling tired, aches around her abdominal area and her breasts (she has had aches around her abdomen before during her period but she says these are different) this was just for the first few days and seem to have stopped now though.

I want to go to a doctor ASAP but she refuses to go until the period has stopped, in the meantime she's been on the phone to her older sister who had very similar things happen when she got pregnant a few years ago.

We probably won't be going to see a doctor until Weds but the not knowing is killing me, does anyone have any info about this?

If anyone can recommend a good hospital or clinic that specialise in this in the upper sukhumvit or bang na area please do let me know thanks.

Ive been on True for 2 years or so in this area (upper Sukumwit) and never had a problem with them, but in the last 6-8 weeks or so lots of weird things have been happening such as when some sites were getting redirected to ads:

and there's been a few days in the last month when my connection has gone off for several hours, overall Im sure my speed is slower (I dont bother checking with the meaningless results from Speedtest.net) on top of that the few times Ive tried gaming online my connections to servers have been much slower....

I'm flying to the Uk tomorrow and someone there is buying me a prepaid SIM card. I bought my iphone in an Apple store here in Bangkok, is it locked to Thai sims or can the uk one work in it?

GTA games mimic life.

Also this isnt new for the series, you have been able to do this since GTA3 that came out well over a decade ago. GTA has always been notorious for these kind of things and its always in the news.

Tbh though for myself and I think for a very large portion of the people that play GTA its all about the size of the game world as this is usually huge and often breaks gaming boundaries , the violence and 'shock' elements I personally find quite boring and never bother with them.

this game doesnt officially exist Im guessing, its probably an older version of Winning 11 or Pro Evoloution Soccer as it was called in Europe for the PS2 thats been edited with the latest players and teams etc, I used to play Winning 11 YEARS ago on the PS2 at the Mall Ramkamheng with some friends on our break when we were teaching in a school there and they always had versions of the games edited with the latest players transfers and kits etc

I have been looking into different types of tablets recently as my father is interested in getting a Microsoft Surface RT, this got me wondering about the one tablet per child program. Im looking to go away for a weekend with the gf to Hua Hin this month, been there a few times but always with 'mates' and stayed in 1k baht a place nights slap bang in the middle of the town, defintley dont want to be doing that this time. I know around Hua Hin there are lots of quieter beaches and towns such as Pranburi and Kaow Takiab and was wondering if anyone has any good tips on nice hotels and resorts to stay at and other general tips.

My father and step mother are in town for a week and Im looking for a few nice Thai and family friendly restaurants I can take them to, we went to Cabbages and Condoms last night which was perfect and I need some other places now, it seems there's nothing but trendy bars and fusion food places though, does anyone have any tips?

My criteria:

Family friendly - when I say that I dont mean we have kids with us but needs to be away from the eyesores and filth, you know what I mean

Thai food mainly - a mix of western and other foods is fine also but no Pizza or Mexcan places etc, I personally would love to eat that but they wont

I went to one which was thai style with some kind of bamboo roof and had a stage with traditional Thai dancing, I think it was on or around sukumwit soi 30? The food wasnt great but I liked the place and would be perfect, cant find anything via Google tho, anyone know the place I mean?

For those of you scanning your computer etc with malware programs and looking at the processes you wont find anything as it looks like this is happening in the connection and external to computers

this stopped for me yesterday afternoon after clearing history and cache but is now back this morning

Silurian -try running some test fro 20 mins or so opening websites in normal chrome and incognito and see what happens

IM on True cable also, it only started around 24-36 hrs ago for me, I had downlaoded divx.com free trail just before that but I doubt from there, not done much else different really.

Interesting that other people are getting it and also on True. Im using opendns like always, I did a full cache clear etc an hr ago and after that it seems that this is now only happening in the incognito mode of chrome which is very weird.

I will try flushdns now myself and MalwareBytes.

So I guess if no evidence of it on my actual computer (none so far) then its a DNS hack? If so how worried should I be about passwords etc?

p.s done full scans with CCleaner and Adaware already which havent resolved it
