  1. Must ask, what did the FB get out of it. Was the 5K demanded not for the glass but for the FB verbal. Did she get any of the 10K you were fined.

Looks like any bar owner/lady can make up this type of story, backed by staff and get anyone in front of a court.

    Lets be careful out there.

  2. Hiya Jack, the Triton is a great motor thx, I spent ages checking out the 'competition' over a few months and even had the benefit of driving my mates brand new Vigo for a week or so but finally decided on the nicer styling (imo) of the mitsu.

In fact I'm still storing the Vigo for my mate and run it every week, the Toyota is certainly smoother and more powerful with it's 179hp (I think) engine than my 140hp but, for me anyway, the nicer looks of the Triton easily compensate for this. I agree the extra power feels good to drive and really felt the difference 'tween the mitsu and my previous 116hp Isuzu so I reckoned the 140hp was a good compromise.

Yea, the wiper blades are still a pain and one is as noisy as hell, just inferior quality i guess so I'll be changing them v soon..no point in asking the idiots at the Krabi main dealer to do anything as they've already denied any responsibility.

I bought silicone wipers in Tesco's, just to see if they were more heat tolerant, and yes, quiet and no hardening, only downside is they are white. :bah:. Look cool if the motor was white. :)

  3. Please tell me that E38 7-Series is photoshopped.... if not, that is a rolling travesty.

Oh and that E39 M5 conversion makes me want to barf. Way to take an almost perfect car and ruin it.

Different people have different ideas as to what they want..

Years ago a friend bought a brand new Range Rover, 1st stop was a body shop, had it chopped and made into a brand new Range Rover Pickup... Watch 'West Coast Customs' on TV, they had a customer with a new Maybach, customizing the Maybach cost the same about as the as the Maybach itself.

Myself like the other way, outside looks standard, just motor, gearbox, brakes etc modified. Best one is the old VW Transporter/camper van, looks slandered but has the Porsche 3.3 engine, some have the 2.7 and 2,7 Turbo engine and running gear.

I put a 350 Chevy and auto trans in one of those, great fun. :D

  4. Reading the whole thread this looks to me like either some very nasty bar that I think, following the results of the trial, should be boycotted by all farang's in Thailand :)

    Yeah.......like thats's really gonna happen.

    :D

Don't be so lame, if people on TV acted out what they claim then the lousy attitude from the bad apples would diminish...

Haha, Farangs in Thailand are interested in one thing, and one thing only, the only things they are interested in are the things that are beneficial to themselves, at that time, at that moment, that's why so many look down upon Thai people and Thailand and get so angry when things don't go the way they want things to go.

Oh, I can't buy land and flip it for a profit, Oh, I can't hold my wife 35 years my junior to ransom, because she lives in the house she owns and I paid for , Oh I can't buy a Toyota Corolla and do taxi runs to The Airport undercutting the Thai people that do the same thing for a living etc etc etc

Thailand IS a great place to live, one of the reasons being that there are laws in place to stop Farangs taking over.

Look what Farangs have done to Farang countries, not a pretty sight is it ? Would you really really want Thailand to suffer the same fate ?

After all, you left your home countries and came here because it was different, so why do you wanna fawk it up the same way your home countries are fawked up ?

If you have the money, Thailand is a great place to live.

If you don't have much money, Thailand gets a little less desirable.

If you know that eventually you'll have to leave Thailand because you never planned ahead and are living day to day and pray that you'll never get sick, you'll feel insecure.

If you live in Thailand and have married a woman 35 years younger than yourself, and you have enough money and enough sense to know exactly what you are doing , I wish you the very best. smile.gif

Mrs. Mills, so, you've been let out for the evening. Nice one, your lucky, keep up the good behaviour but please keep off the Net eh.

  5. Kenny don't feed WSpeed ego he will just come back with a heap of B/shit and go on and on.

WhoTF are you? Feed my ego??? :cheesy: :cheesy: :jerk: Nice worthless contribution, nothing of value so go back to the ladies forum where you obviously belong, wanke_r :jerk:..

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Realy don't think there is any need to call people names/

You have been found out yet again Warps. Time for you to re-coup and re-think your forum strategy eh.

  7. Ha Ha but seriously, shorts are the most ridiculous garment ever created. Men look scruffy, absurd and grotesque in them. I'd never voluntarily wear shorts in public under any circumstances.

It's perhaps allowable when you are within 20 feet of the sea and actually standing on sand but otherwise, god almighty!

People wearing them look like absolute numpties (and uncouth).

I'm proud to say my legs have not seen the light of day since I was twelve years old.

Plus any rational person putting on a T-shirt, and then comparing it with a loose open-neck traditional style shirt must instantly notice it's actually much cooler than a T-shirt because air circulates.

Get grip, have some self-respect, and don't show us your knobbly root-like legs!

AND, god forbid, Varicose veins.

  8. Police issue arrest warrant for Porsche driver murderer

    <snip>

a witness confirmed that the tall, long hair murderer called a cab and fled the area on Friday. The investigation team had gathered finger prints on the steering wheel and other evidence which indicated 58 year-old Supachai Taksintwesurb as the main suspect.

    <snip>

Tall, long haired? Have they got the right bloke?

Hmmmmmm, this is NOT the driver of the motor going by witness statements. Something is afoot here. ;)

  9. That's a girl's car for carrying groceries.

I didn't want to tell him but now you have then yes IT'S GIRLY.

    Holden truck with GM 7.0-litre V8 LS7Power :- 510 PS ( 503 bhp) (W427) Torque :- 640 N·m (470 ft·lbf) (W427)

This engine was originally used in the Corvette Z06....... if thats girly, it will do me.

Have to agree, even if l had to drive it with a paper bag over my head.

  10. I'd have a small wager that judging by his mug shot, that he's closer to 16 (or below) than 19 as reported earlier. Let's see!

That's not his 'mug shot', that's his picture from his Thai ID card which he got when he WAS 15... like most Thai kids are legally bound to do.

    Bam!

Another conspiracy theory shot all to buggery!

    Pow!

    Another lost wager!

    Bonus!

The mug shot at his arrest seems he looks younger, is it the same guy ? He looks twelve to me.

  11. I finally went to gymware. The owner speaks perfect English and has his own workshop. You can order there what you want and he will make it. I am quite happy he is a professional. I wish i had known about him earlier before i bought some of my other stuff.

    Cool, keep pumping. :)

Have a Sports Uni near me, but outsiders can use the stuff for 50bht a session, long as you like, and have all the good machines and weight set ups. Unfortunately age is catching up with me, if l had a local chum with some motivation then l think l would keep at it. :)

Weight lifting is great for the bones. Just have to be a bit careful. But when your form is good not many things can go wrong. But motivation is always a killer i have had my off times too usually after my parents visit. (hard to get back into it) And in Holland i had a 10 year period i was off. You can always get back.

Yeh, agree. Unfortunately for me l had the onset of Psiratic Arthritis in UK which meant lots of pain, drugs and no more training..Came to LOS, no more drugs (heat) and started again, cool, but as you know, a chum to give you motivation is essential to our sport. :)

  12. Diesel subs? hahaha. Against any real military those would be laying on the bottom of the ocean as artificial reefs in no time flat. Even against a half-assed military I imagine modern destroyers/spotter craft can outmaneuver diesel subs and drop enough depth charges/sub killing torps to sink that investment real fast. I bet the general in charge of these latest appropriations will make a speech proclaiming Thailand's military superiority (with second handed tech) and go back to his corruption money purchased mansion somewhere.

The Swedish planes were already a big useless money sink but these subs are something else..

    Must agree.

Remember Saddams massive army of old tech arms that was going to show all the mother of all battles  which lasted about 10 minutes, same bloody useless decisions here.

  13. Rob u don't strike me as a guy who would use such heavy weights for squatting? ;)

Yea i know but you are partly right my squat sucks. Never did it much before moving to Thailand and recently found out i was doing it totally wrong (form). Anyway doing only 75 kg 5 x 5 but will manage increasing that with 5 kg a week. The problem was more with my bench press (favorite exercise) 110 5 x 5 but wont be able to increase that with 5 kg every week (how i wish). But for the schedule its needed to increase mandatory even so i looked for smaller weights.

You're the opposite of me, At my best I was squatting 200kg but my bench was only 80kg.

But that was ten years ago. Strong legs, sad chest.

    80kg (180lb) is a cool press. :)
