  1. I once saw a boy in Carrefour wearing a t-shirt with NSDAP (and the full text of what it stands for in German) along with a big swastika.

Now THAT can be called offensive.

But I am quite sure the poor boy didn't have a clue what kind of shirt he was wearing.......

In Ubon there selling red shirts with the black and white Swastika on . Of course the lads think it looks cool. .

I get angry and tell the mrs, but she has never heard of the second world war.

  2. i think that i would rather have airbags than a sports steering wheel . what about the next owner . how will he get on . . when a 16 wheeler hits him side on . james hat yai sydney :annoyed:

An air-bag steering wheel offers no protection from a side impact so your point is a wank no matter the vehicle's involved.

However I will keep the sports wheel for my next vehicle and put the OEM bagged wheel back on before I sell.

As an aside, I do like AirBags, they will be replacing the OEM suspension in my pickup soon.

are you able to find in LOS AirBags rear suspension for pickups?

Would love to replace front coils in my Vigo with softer Fortuner springs, but a rear airsuspension is needed for both comfort and load capabilty

Have not even looked, I get weekly shipments of stuff from Australia for work so am getting AirRide Aus to spec me a kit and will get it shipped via a work delivery, am going tubbed and 4 link on the rear at the same time.

  3. Are minstrel shows REALLY a crime, or merely criminally bad taste?

Noooo, the cast dressed up in great gear, made up to look, eeeer black and sang great stuff, long time ago though as we hardly EVER saw a black person. Nooooooooo bad reflection on black folks.

Imagine in Africa and a national dressed like a white man, put talc on his face and sang My Way, any problem, Nooooooo. Fun. :)

    Yep, agree with that. :)

  5. Because of people like you the UK is going down hill fast. TAKE ANOTHER LOOK, at other stuff for sale that has WHITE man references. When l was a kid we had the black and white minstrel show, white men singing BLACK songs but a crime now. GET a LIFE.

    • you all must be very poor, if you can't afford the <deleted>.......g 20 baht.
    • spending thousands for ladies and beer but complain about atm fees.
    • Cheep Charlies
    • i guess you all are this people who buy beer in 7/11 and go in walkingstreet, but don't spent a baht there.
    • do we need this in thailand?

    Never paid for a lady.

Drink very little just on weekends.

    Never been to walking Street

Never bought a beer in 7/Eleven

So can I now complain about 150 baht fees.

Because there are many Guys like you here. That's why Thai is bein' like Way.. ... unscrupulously Thai Banks makin' money out of their Clients.... Don't you get it...

It's not the question of affordability though. re-consider what you are thinkin' again please.......

Many guys like me?? So Thais are what they are because I don't crawl the streets throwing money at prostitutes and get shit faced on alcohol every night and throw up in the gutters before I bed my next dirty bar girl. I am sorry that myself and my kind have caused so many problems for living a normal family life. Extremely sorry. I guess I am not the right farang profile for Thailand

    +1,

Unfortunately there are many posters '' here '' for what you described and look at their outlay for a leg over and beer as very cheap and don't mind the other expenses being topped up. Sort of blinkered eh.

  6. Daikin are the best bar non. Quiet running and have been doing the cooling a looong time, thats all they do, make aircon stuff. The inverter models are more expensive but 30% cheaper to run. :) My bedroom is about 15 sq mtr and a 12000btu does the job.

Ok thanks for that. what is an "inverter"? Pay more but save in the long run?

Just a new internal design to save on electricity, and it does. :)

  7. Just looked at the can, it'a big and yellow. Stuff made by STP, the oil treatment people. It sprays a foam, leave a minute, agitate with a brush and wipe off with damp cloth. Seats do not water saturate so dries very quickly.

PLEASE try this first then buy me a beer.

  8. In case anyone is interested I ended up buying the 5,000 litre one from that website I mentioned. They don't have them in stock that size but make them to order. 18,900 baht + 3,000 baht delivery.

    Thats cool :).

I thought Home Hub on the ring road from Ubon to Warin did BIG tanks.

  9. Yes but with that some people just never will become that classical pianist and just end up plonking on the key board so best for them to leave the beautiful music to some one more capable. For the life of me though even were I an average driver I could not consider feeling more comfortable nor leaving that responsibility in someone else's hands let alone a complete stranger.

So Dmax what to do?? Who do you feel it would be better to place your life and the life of your family in?

Did I mention I might be available for a drivers position :whistling: ...

I already applied but it's a manual trans. :bah:.

  11. I drove convoy VIP in tough third world. Fast and furious. With such skills, Thai roads seem quite safe. Every time I am on the road I tend to draw these drivers that want to show off, but after 2 straight hours of intensive driving, they stop to cool off. That I can do until the fuel blinkers come on.

Good dancers make good drivers, its just co ordination. I have seen some serious good Thai drivers. If you want to feel at home on Thai roads, try training on go kart, seriously, if you master go kart racing, you will find driving here fun.

    i cant dance :(

    Ah-hah,

:) A car is a machine, the same as any other machine or even a musical instrument, the operator, musician must learn , through a great deal of practice how to master it. For instance, a classical organ player uses two feet and two hands, and read the music ( road ) to achieve the mastery, same with anything else, even a safe drive.. :)
