  1. There is a video clip of the police going through the crime scene here

WARNING: This clip contains unedited footage of the crime scene and many gory scenes! Use your own discretion when viewing it.

Not nice to watch but one can see now what happened. My guess the guy was travelling pretty quick.

Amazes me how ''some '' must try and look at the gory scene and bits of the lass, why don't the police clear the area and give the lass some dignity, but l suppose thats where we farangs are different. ;)

  2. IanF (from the Pub 'Shark' topic yesterday) I can back up everything I say and I never hide behind anonymity ... Of course not! How could you post all these pictures of yourself if you were hiding behind anonymity ... with the links to your website no less? BTW I'd like to see those 'back up' pictures of you holding all those prize babes you've landed whilst down on one knee like you hold all of those prize fish.

Do l sense a bit of envy or jealousy here, hmmmm. :D

  3. I guess in all truth if i was a multi millionaire I would be living in a big villa in the Med, with my 50 foot yacht. Going sking in the Alps and parting with the rich and famous. Unfortunitly that is not the case. So my options are limited to either a peaceful easy life in an Issan village, or a 60 hour working week for another 10/15 years. afterwhich a dog food and baked bean pension while I wait to die.. No brainer for me, but most of my friends think I have lost my mind giving up te rat race etc just to have a happy content life. Jim

Right on Jim, right on ! Have read quite a few of your posts. We seem to have the same "Life-Philosophie". It's just good to know, that there is at least one "soul-mate" posting here. HeHe!

    Cheers.

    You are not alone.

  4. RIP

I cannot believe the kid drove for another 4 to 5 minutes, then sat in the car 5-10 minutes after parking (according to witnesses via one of the news links above) and then got out and left.

There is a very good possibility the girl was still alive, albeit in a serious state of shock and probably for only a few minutes as she bled out, but depending on how she landed inside and where exactly she was cut, she could have still been able to move a little, look at him, and possibly even speak a word or two. Even if none of this happened, this kid's life is ruined as well (and rightly so). He will be haunted by her in his head forever, and he will always see her in his mind.

Sat with half a dead corpse for ten minutes in the confines of a small car.

Either in shock or a real bad ass. :(

  5. " At least the driver was thoughtful enough to lock the vehicle to protect the crime scene from any manipulation."

I thought it was normal practice for people to lock their cars to prevent others from stealing them. If it was my car and I was in a panic, I'd probably lock it out of habit. If it wasn't my car and I was in a panic, I'd probably not lock it.

    Book'em Dano!

Very true, didn't want anyone stealing his new expensive ride.

  6. Did the owner of the vehicle leave it unlocked, unattended with the keys in the ignition? Since when are car thieves so considerate and lock/secure the vehicle for the owner so as it doesn't get stolen again. Would,t a police officer with 1/8 of a brain be saying hang something is not quite right here?

The BiB wil be thinking about how can we make money out of this, nothing much else.

  7. Toyota Smart Cab 4x4. which is a 2+2 suicide doors. :)

I'm still a little touchy about my last Toyota. It was a 4X4 four door and it was a true lemon. The local Toyota dealer made a lot of money off me. Had it been a good vehicle, I'd still have it. My present truck is a 2004 Nissan 2WD and it is the very best vehicle I have ever owned. Unfortunately I don't much care for the new Nissans. I have gone so far as to see if it is possible to convert my old Nissan to a 4X4. The guy who does that kind of work thought I was crazy.

I think I'll wait to see how much the new Fords cost. We have a LOT of mud roads up here and I'll be fine until the rains start. My old Nissan doesn't go in the mud very well. Walking home in the rain to fetch my tractor to pull it out of the mud isn't much fun.

I bought a Toyota 4x4 2.5 Turbo common rail in 2000, i also thought that was a lemon. My mates used to say that they forgot to put the turbo in, it was gutless!!

    JH

    Perhaps they did. :D

Different story now with a modern Toyota, and fit a cheap chip in minutes takes it over 200 hp/400ft/lb tq.

Bad luck on your Vigo. Think any make on the planet has a '' lemon '' every once and awhile and not much fun being the recipient. ;) .

  9. And those same previous drivers from those by gone eras have led the way and continue to lead the way in safety enhancements for drivers and vehicles.. They are the biggest advocates of such changes and in the vintage racing you're referring to all the cars have modern SAFETY features for the drivers..

    Such as ?
