  1. Great, let me know your comments on below.....???? Now please read the link.... https://www.thaiautonews.net/new-products/foton-launches-electric-commercial-trucks/
  2. The bus is built the same as a HGV, Chassis and loads of wheels with batteries to propel it...In Thailand...????
  3. My point was there are batteries for EV HGV's which you were questioning. But, just for you in LOS.....????
  4. Heeeeey, don't dodge, EV HGV's are out there if one wants to buy one. Don't hide behind the Thai thing, you were going on about batteries for HGV's..????
  5. I would have thought anything can be bought in Thailand if it is wanted...
  6. My friend in the UK works for an EV heavy goods vehicle manufacturers. Here is a photo of an EV dust cart, they are all over the UK.
  7. Nor can I, but Google translate is very helpful, and many sites do provide their stuff in English, one thing that the members of ASEAN countries agreed on was to communicate in English..Hoorah...????
  8. If you were police marked as partly to blame, the insurance co. will not pursue a claim against the kid. I think that happens a lot here, well, I know of a few instances where folk at fault actually got paid out....Sad but true..
  9. No, it was only for getting up ramps, etc, I think only tools do the pimp my ride thing....????
  10. Absolutely, as a Londoner, it was quite normal, but sitting in one's own personal carriage, it was OK, especially in the Merc...????
  11. Actually, my friend has a very low car, so low in fact he installed hydraulic suspension to deal with anything, pull a lever and up it went....
  12. There's me thinking BKK was a big town/city, well it was when I drove round it, in my own wheels, and to have folk like you tell me/us, what do you want wheels for, is ridiculous as we usually do what we want, but in your case with an EV, you may be better off on the bus, and be "charged" a fare....????
  13. What I find amazing is, those who control the wiring mess probably went to university to learn the job. ???? I pity those who have to climb up ladders to fix problems...????
  14. The thick cables on top are high voltage, they feed the transformers, to convert to 230 volts for general use, you will see transformers up the same posts at intervals.
  15. About a month back we had a lightning strike on the post outside our house, the post has 5 meters on it. So 5 houses have their individual feed wires from outside my place, that is a lot of wires hanging up there, plus the Internet wires. Anyhooo, my meter was trashed, the lightning hit my electric wire feeds and sent them to the ground.. PS. If a house needs more power, they usually run another wire/cable to bolster it. In UK, house feeds come from a huge underground cable, which is about 4 inches in diameter, has 3 live cores and one neutral, the lead sheath and armour are used for the earth, it takes about half a day to connect a house, which itself has an underground cable. But it may well have all changed now, but for sure, the copper/aluminium cables that were planted a zillion years back, are still doing their job... ????
