I wouldn't be surprised at all if they have already ceased processing new applications or renewals. All they need to do is slow walk them through the next 11 days and that's the end of it until it relaunches.

If the tax was paid then usually nobody cares who actually paid it. I also heard that if the tax isn't paid then the land doesn't change ownership so this smells like a load of bull<deleted> to me. Someone in charge of something doesn't like this PM candidate either.

I looked back in my email and I also received one. It did confirm that there will be no more 'upgrades' from 15th August and when the new packages are announced new upgrades will resume in 2024. It really sounds like they've done this in such a way that there's not enough time for people to find out and upgrade - they don't want people to upgrade. I'm over 50 now, do I really need TE? The answer to that is a resounding 'No' - I use it because it's cheap and convenient - if it stops being either of those two then I'm done with it. Still, I've got about 2 years of membership left so plenty of time. I will not be scrambling to upgrade my existing membership by their last minute deadline.

Why use a middle man when you can do it all over the phone with the official company. I would never use an agent for this when it's so easy to apply directly.
