Until further investigation and reporting, it might be that they had a lot of fertilizer stored somewhere. -
18,000 cows killed in Texas dairy farm explosion
dingdongrb replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It was said that the barn was more than 2.1m sq ft (198k sq meters)....... I would say it could have held quite a few cows? -
I'm so frugal I steal packets of sugar, creamer, and toilet paper whenever I can. I even look under tables for some chewing gum and fight soi dogs for a chicken bone.

I understand what you say and with even doing a little Googling myself I come up with 2009. I may be getting older but I haven't lost my memory. I know I read about bitcoin back in the 90s as I was living in The USA at the time and reading various media such as 'Money', 'Financial Times', 'WSJ', 'Individual Investor', etc... back then. In 2009 I was then doing online trading and living in China. Maybe what I was read was someone predicting the foreseeable future. Sort of like when I read back in the 90s that the future would be about 'information', the gathering of and selling information. Yeah, back in the day when you actually needed a phonebook.... ????

UK Pension Service - Total Farse
dingdongrb replied to piston broke's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
As much as I hate to say it but the OP sounds just like the chit us Americans go through in order to try to receive our Social Security pension benefits when living in Thailand. -
Wow, they didn't wear helmets back then when on a scooter. Times sure have changed after 14 years ----- NOT!!!!!

I saw Kerry trucks out on the road yesterday. .......and I did receive a package from my favorite cannabis seller yesterday. It was delivered at 1:45pm. It was paid prior to shipment (via bank transfer) and delivered using EMS. I have ordered from this shop several times and it's always been a 2 day delivery time once they send it out. Seems as though the Songkran traffic didn't affect it even though it traveled 1,300 km.

Seagrams Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey. From where may I purchase it?
dingdongrb replied to DudleySquat's topic in Pattaya
Yes indeed. I recall when I first came to Thailand on business back in the late 90s I was introduced to a great little 'hole-in-the wall' Japanese steak house in the Patpong area. Sitting on a little mantel behind the cash register was a bottle of Crown. When I ordered my steak I requested to have a double shot of Crown. The waitress said that they didn't serve Crown. I pointed at the bottle siting on the mantel and she said that was a private bottle that the owner was gifted by a customer friend and it was only there for show. At that time I offered him 3k THB but he declined to sell. I wonder if it is still there as it's been over 20 yrs since I last went to that restaurant. I'm guessing the restaurant is probably no longer let alone the bottle of Crown. -

As much as I wanted to buy some I never did as I thought they were over-priced for my taste buds. These are pics I took at Rimping in Chiang Mai. The prices are 2 years apart (2018 & 2020).

Seagrams Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey. From where may I purchase it?
dingdongrb replied to DudleySquat's topic in Pattaya
Crown Royal is my favorite. The only place I know where one could buy it is at Duty Free. I used to have all my friends bring me in 2 bottles every time anyone went on international travel. I would save them for the Christmas/NY holidays. -
I hate all bitcoin discussion and avoid it....... why? Because I am still kicking myself in the @$$.... I read about bitcoin in Investor magazine back in the mid 90s. One coin was going for $0.25 USD.... Yes, a friggin quarter! At that time online trading wasn't occurring. I told myself to call my broker and buy $100 worth.... I never did! I am sure if I had bought any I probably would have sold well before it hit the peak of $60k.

Nice.... I learnt to juggle using rolled up socks. I juggled when I was younger at the laundromat to impress the young kids in front of their single mothers. As far hacky sack, my good friend 'Rippin Rick' (RIP) was a world champion footbag contender.

Children's ID? With you saying that I am assuming you were applying for an extension based on marriage. For the years I did the marriage route I always had to provide birth certificates.

That is so true..... so with saying that how can you say it will take 60 days? First you sounded like all could take 60 days, and then you post that yours was one of those outliers that got shoved aside inadvertently and it took 60 days. I guess I will just wait and see....at least the ball is rolling and I now know where in the process my application is and what needs to occur. I will, as before, post an update when something occurs.

Great information. Please show me the link to the SSA for the requirement. I take it you know all this from personal experience? Do note, I am just a 'keyboard warrior' so what I post on this or any forum may or may not be true. So taking away a benefit just because I made a post and not having any actual proof is totally ridiculous. Word of advice, don't believe everything you read on the Internet. Until I receive the info you speak about I'll use the funds provided to my daughter to buy her all the ice cream and tattoos she wants.

And you know this how, from personal experience? It might be true but reading some of the posts on this thread, and others, the call from Manila can be anywhere from a week to many months after completing the application. So if that's any indication then the approval from Baltimore could be the same...... big variance Thx for the link.

I do like the fake wall and any insulation should help some. Are those hacky sacks (footbags) I see on the bookcase or juggling bags?

AI Can Now Crack Most Passwords in Less Than a Minute

I think there's a better chance AI can predict the winning lottery numbers before it can crack a strong PW. -

dingdongrb replied to carlyai's topic in The Electrical Forum
Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm: Does lightening go up from the ground into the sky or does it start in the sky and go to the ground? I'm wondering what the odds are of having your meter get hit by a lightening strike? -
